The actor playing Sophie is taking a few months off to be in a play so I dont see how they going give her a story.

+Spaz Dude I'm going to guess Kate kisses Sophie who's still in pain over Maddie so Soph leaves to go do her own thing and find some peace away from Coronation Street for a while, giving the actress an out for those months. Maybe something will happen between them when she comes back

+Spaz Dude Brooke shared a link on twitter within that link it said "She is contracted until next summer but has absolutely no intention of leaving the soap.” so she will be leavinga for a while but will deffinitely be returning. :)
