Sophie Ellis Bextor X Propaganda - Duel (DJ Riv's Version)

I always loved the production on Propaganda's "Duel" (1985) which was produced by the legendary Trevor Horn. However, I prefer the vocal on Sophie Ellis-Bextor's version from 2007. So I extracted Sophie's vocals and put them over the original instrumental version. Enjoy!

The original - by Propaganda, as we all know! - is easily one of my favourite tracks of the 80s. And, as a general rule, I don't particularly like covers. But Sophie's mesmerising voice and the wonderful synth of her version combine to produce a cover I love. So her cover vocals over the original music looked really freaky when I came across this vid and read what it was all about........but it actually works IMHO. It's not up there with Claudia singing to the original music of course, but it ain't bloody bad.
