Does anyone think she's the main protagonist in the film or is it just me she played the most important role in the story and she did it wonderfully. I'm telling you this actress is exceptional and she'll get a lot of attention after this fantastic demonstration of talent . To be honest, I don't think she is as beautiful as Sophie supposes to be. I was imagining someone more princess-y like Elle Fanning or Amanda Seyfriend. But yeah, she deserves to be praised for her acting in this movie.

I liked her acting skills and i believe we'll see her more often in the future but to be honest she's beautiful too I don't know what standards you guys put to measure a girl's beauty but I'm telling you that's bullshit there's more to life than beauty i hope you all start seing that some day.

@@jeyjey8394 Honestly..beauty standard will never be gone unless celebs became ugly and there is no more beauty products, but until that day come ppl will still give importance to it. I agree with what Ruyi said. Ruyi didn’t say the actress isn’t pretty. It’s just that the role of a character named “Sophie” have a princess-look typa beauty. Sophie suppose to look angelic, pure and insanely attractive but in this movie we can all tell she is a villain/anti-hero even in the beginning of the movie bcuz the actress have a fierce look.

@@scarlett9750 well in the world where Nicky Minaj is considered hot and Kim Kardashian is perfect and Kylie Jenner is beautiful I think Sophia Anne Caruso is one hella natural beauty. As for her not looking pure and angelic that was kinda the point of the movie she's supposed to be something in between good and evil that's what Agatha said in the movie that she is human. To conclude looking pure has never been a standard for beauty, for example Megan fox she's gorgeous but also has some devilish look as If she's gonna eat you alive any minute. All i'm saying is the standards of beauty have long been destroyed by the perfection humans are seeking.

After reading the 6th book of the series Sophie became my favorite character, but I decided to re-read de first one this week to compare to the movie, and oh god, Sophie is a little less iconic and a lot more unbearable, inconvenient and evil than this one (I still love the movie Sophie, but they've softened her character, she literally kills someone in the first book)

The movie did wrong her character. In the books we get see why she was put in the Evil school. I can give you some examples if you want to but I suggest you to read the books

Sophie is selfish and narcissist.. She befriended agatha in hoping she earns good deed and be kidnap to school for good (yeah sge is known in the village/they know children are being kidnapped) Yeah thats the moral, the blonde is evil and the witch look had pure heart Sophies is so badass in this movie Aggie so underrated, shes so good in book
