@@amyuresti5173 2019/20 New Year Paula slept with Tracy Barlow after getting drunk and morose, she had been stalking Sophie's social media and apparently decided Sophie had moved on with a back packer. The audience didn't get to see how she came to this conclusion, if she was right or misunderstood what she was seeing, which is very likely. The actress who played Sophie was meant to be returning after maternity leave, but she became pregnant again and decided to take a break from the show. After it was announced Sophie was not returning Paula disappeared despite Stirling's reassurance she was sticking around, So I'm guessing there was a plan for them to reunite but it was dropped

@@alisonselway4386 Yes but Paula should remember The Street are Blue Collar Folks who don't have positive experiences with Lawyers. I don't think Adam Barlow is a "Real" Lawyer and Imran chooses to work as a "Street Lawyer" instead of working for some hotshot firm. I know she'll be dumbfounded when the truth about Nick comes out so to speak. I would have loved for Paula to invite Sophie to her place, eat a romantic dinner and make love and we see it on screen.

They just seem to keep themselves warm waiting the winter to be over, personally I don't see the chemistry. Those writers don't put much works in it "I forgot my scarf" 🙄 (Cannot get more boring than that, can it ?)

MlleNnCo agreed, after they come back they need a proper good, maybe kind of dark storyline for Sophie with Paula and other characters, something that will develop their relationship between them a bit and introduce Paula to other characters so she is not just Sophie’s girlfriend with no interaction between other people.
