I think that Paula realized that she made a mistake of thinking that Sally was guilty and breaking up with Sophie. Although Paula might still have feelings for Sophie, I feel like Paula isn't ready to give her and Sophie's relationship another chance. The writers should give Sophie another love interest to make Paula jealous. Just Imogen for Kate to make Rana jealous.

Paula is old and boring, get Sophie with someone better.

Najah Jane Morris it's just a shame sacha wanted to leave, because it was obvious if she hadn't Sophie and Sian would've been endgame.. they were perfect for each other and they made it through everything, until sacha had to leave.. the fact she didn't die gives me some hope she can always come back

Najah Jane Morris I know that soaps sometimes do that, but I wouldn't want that for them. they were special because of Brooke and Sacha, and their chemistry, I loved the build of their relationship and I think a lot of it was because the actresses were so close it came across as so authentic on screen.. I just hope Sacha decides to come back, it's happened before ! I still have hope haha

Yeah, looks like that ship has been torpedoed by the writers foregrounding of Rana and Kate. But they won't leave Sophie on her lonesome too long. She's much too pretty for that to make sense.
