Masterclass improvisation "And again..."

Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin was titular of the Grand Orgue of Saint Jean-Baptiste de la Salle in Paris from 1983 to 2013.
In 1985, she added the position of co-titular of the Grand Orgue of Saint Sulpice Paris with Daniel Roth.
In 1990 after an advanced teaching by Loïc Mallié, she became the first woman to win the second prize in improvisation at the Chartres International Organ Improvisation Competition.

The second crescendo (starting at 3:07) is jaw-dropping. Even by Mme Choplin's standards this is an astonishing perfomance.

What trust she placed in the musical nous of her registrants who seem to divine her needs. Only once does she instruct. A marvellous performance all round.

Is it me, or does she look far, far more relaxed at the console than she ever does at S. Sulpice? Gorgeous playing of course.
