Can someone explain what do sorrorities do? I am from Europe and we dont have that here, is it educational or just for fun? Is it like a uni parlament/group, event planing?

goaway sororities are like groups of people that do community service, events and things of that nature. It also depends on your sorority too because African American sororities/fraternities stomp which is a type of dance or movement you can say. It’s really just a group of friends in college and each sorority has its own beliefs and values. Edit: Another difference from African American sororities/fraternities is instead of rushing they interview people who want to be in the organization and then pick the finals and have a probate.

I think this was one of the shortest rush weeks I seen! Super cool that most of your friends made it into the same sororities! One of my suitemates is actually in DG and I believe shes a 3rd generation of being apart of that sorority.

yes! Rush at my school (American University) is not as big of a deal as it is at big state schools! It's definitely a lot shorter!

I’m really interested in joining a sorority and how the whole thing works and I’m also planning to apply to American University, so I was wondering if you’d be willing to make a video all about the sororities at American and yours specifically. I really just wanna know about the hazing/initiation process, what the houses are like, how many girls are in each one, what kind of stuff you have to do or get to do as a sorority and thins like that. I think it’d be a fun an easy video for you to make over quarantine too! So yeah, just a suggestion. Thanks!

not sure if it's just for nphc sororities, but a lot of the initiation process is supposed to be more secretive so that the experience is only really shared with your sisters but idk

as an AU alum, i can say that sororities and frats were not a thing when i was there. but i recognized the dorm from your first shot and said, that’s AU lol
