This backing track is based on "Sorrow" By Pink Floyd! It's basically comfortably numb in E minor. In fact, most of these extended Pink Floyd guitar solos are based on this chord progression! It's definitely a winner!
This jam track is straight E Aeolian. Start with Minor pentatonic and sprinkle in some Aeolian notes.
