there's an amazing book called AFTERLIFE, and it really fits this aesthetic, there's romance and a dark past( its a dark, fantasy romance genre book) There's a girl with a really dark past, and she has visions. One day when she glances up and catches his eyes she doesn't forget him, but neither can he. He's not human and no, he's not a werewolf or vampire, he's something else... This author is an amazing writer who can make you laugh or cry and her descriptions are breathtaking. I really recommend reading this book. :) just give it a go, it really grows on you and the sexual tension is akfjsoefjsoifasfsf. so yeah ;) Afterlife by Stephanie Hudson.
