Depression is real. If you sink too low, it is hard to recover from. I know as I live there. I don't leave the house for months on end, not even going outside. I have nothing I like to do anymore. I am glad you caught it.

2020 dodge ram promaster city cargo van blind spot mirrors sucks! You can’t adjust them! Glad to see you’re back. Depression does suck usually around winter time. I have been sick on and off since January which I have never had happened to me 5 times in short time period. I am just getting over a cold and flu bug this weekend. I had flu, cold, COVID, cold and now cold and flu bug. My co-worker has helped me with my depression last year because a lot has happened in my family.

I watch another channel called Happiness by the Mile. She went MIA for a little while also and just started posting again a few weeks ago. She was kinda going through the same thing. Glad to see you back !

Brother Dave, depression happens to the best of us. It is something we have little to no control over and the triggers are never totally clear. I understand totally. I am glad to see you back and looking forward to new content. Just be sure to take care of yourself as well. I don't wish depression on anyone, it eats you alive.

Dave you make a good point about the small windshield. the fancy trucks with the big visors on the windshield & side window chops that cover up half the windshield and side windows, I don't get why restricting your vision is precieved to be "cool".

I hear ya Dave, same boat. This past year and winter totally kicked my ass. Still even to this day struggling over a past relationship. Never EVER been suicidal but had a near attempt back in January just totally bummed out over life and everything and my job was kicking me down hard. Its rough but its good to see you on the upside buddy. I'm sure I'm coming that away soon, as well as everyone else feeling this way!

Glad to hear you're doing better! I just got my third Cascadia from my company in February (a 2025) My least favorite part is the damn radar on the windshield. If there's a car on the on ramp while you're driving down the highway, it creates a blind spot and it's annoying af. I got used to the mirrors so those don't bother me much.

Hey Dave, I found myself in your same boat, noticed that nothing changed but I found myself feeling going down hill fast. I never understood depression until I went through it myself. Thanks for sharing, it's hard to admit that somethings up, but glad your doing better. I'm slowly recovering, and hopefully I'll be back to normal soon. It's relieving to hear other that are or have struggle with depression.

Just something that I think could help out with your videos. I notice there’s a lot of wind noise when you’re outside. Depending on where your microphone is the tried and true way is to surround the microphone with foam in one way or another. Maybe look for the microphone hole if it’s on the camera itself. Glad to see you back and hopefully all of these troubles will go away. Feel better soon ❤ looking forward to my return to the road. I’ve been away for about two years and it’s hard to find a company to hire you after after being away for soo long. Going from Flatbed to Refer. Going to be a new and hopefully exciting adventure!

Welcome back, it's good to see you are well, especially after a having a less than pleasant time off. Such is life, it is loaded with ups and downs and sometimes the downs hit when you don't expect them too. Definitely looking forward to seeing your content again and never worry about what happens on social media, whether you stop uploading or just don't feel like looking at it, we all need that moment to just shut ourselves off from the world. I switched from a company that was basically entirely Freightliner to a company that is big with Paccar trucks (and Volvo's) and honestly, I miss the Cascadia. The T680 I've been driving, it's okay, but I just miss how Freightliner did their trucks. I honestly never considered the mirrors on the Cascadia to be smaller to a noteworthy level compared to others. Granted I never had any seat time in the Volvo so I can't judge between those two. But at least from the T680 to the Cascadia, I didn't notice the change. But yes, the T680 feels very cramped and even though mine is 2020, it feels very 2002 in it. Also the biggest thing I miss from the Cascadia is just how tight it can turn, it can turn circles around this KW. I am curious if you have the ParkSmart system like my last Cascadia had or it uses an APU.

I found your channel during your break and have been binge watching your videos before bed every night. I am excited to see you back! Keep an eye on your mental health but don't be too worried about it. We're all human and stuff like this happens. As long as you're not depressed and forcing yourself.

Living up north in the winter is depressing at least it was for me. Since I retired I tackled that several years ago by spending January, February and March in Florida ….works like a charm.

Hi Dave! Been watching your videos for a little bit now. I remember last year or the year before, I was talking with my doc about how I've been feeling. At that time it was during the holidays and i worked during the holidays. It was rough to work and not really have time to celebrate. My doctor was sharing how especially during the holidays, some people experience this thing called S.A.D (seasonal affective disorder). Now that i know whats its called, I know how to take better care of myself. I also no longer work as much during the holidays. I know how it feels, brothah!
