Really, if you go to Santa Domingo you will see kids dyeing on the streets, i said to my guide I would help one we saw, he said "great it will cost about $700 for his hospital treatment" well.i replied "the life of a child is worth more than that!" he then took me round to the next street wbere 2 more kids were lying on the pavement and said "Ok mister how many ambulances do you want me to call?, how many lots of $700 have you got?"

Umm, you do realized everything from the northern Canada all the way down to the tip of South America, including the Caribbean Islands such as the Dominican Republic are part of America right? In fact the Dominican Republic is recognized part of North America. I don't get how people seem to not understand that the United States isn't the only American Nation. I guess a bad modern educational system can be to blame for that, because 40 years ago, the Americas were covered in basic grade school geography.
