Japanese Mange authors tend to be very skilled in the art of discreetly inserting their fetish into what stories they like working on. Whether it be minor like in this case, or major like in other cases, I just can’t help but admire the levels of audacity, degeneracy, and commitment these guys have to making themselves feel proud in all sorts of weird ways.

I did the same except now I'm contemplating because I am somewhat intrigued in getting wounds like can I just stab myself and let it heal, how much can I like stretch my body with injuries and wounds before I should stop? The human body is so frail but strong at the same time. I wish I can act on these thoughts to find out how it feels but I have a self-imposed restriction on debilitating myself because I won't have a reason to live if I am severely debilitated.

Episode 11 and 12 were so action packed and i felt like season 2 was more focused on the story more than action which was actually a good thing.Faputa is one of the strangest characters for me.She both wants to save her mother but at the same time partly understands that what shes doing is wrong.I also liked the edition of white reg kinda like how they had dark reg except hes much less powerful here.I know this video is about faputa but damn, i will never forget how dirty they did veuko in this anime.

I don’t think I’m ever going to watch made in abyss because it’s just way too dark and sad but Faputa might be the whole reason I end up watching the show. She’s like a little puppy and I want to cuddle her and I know I will probably die in the process.

The worst part is that as an animalistic person sniffing his crotch makes sense. That’s what animals do. Later Riko actually sniffs Faputa’s butt after being given permission. Then faputa acts all proud because she basically sent marks Regs ‘treasure’ as hers. But because they are kids it’s a little squicky

After absorbing the black goo of the village she seems to be able to instantly regenerate any wound, thats on top of her supposed inmortality from birth, although its unclear if the black goo is unlimited or if it even works outside the village as we havent seen her get wounded since then yet.

Made in Abyss is masterful, so yes, worth a watch. "The Golden City of the Scorching Sun" is the second season, though; you'll need to watch the first season and the movie "Dawn of the Deep Soul" before this. What do you expect? Like a content warning? It's a dark fantasy adventure that doesn't shy away from showing real consequences and doesn't pull its punches, and there's a _lot_ of violence against young characters.
