Nice to see Duchess is licking down that salt block in the horseshoe on her stall wall! Equines always know how to balance their nutrition, except when it comes to laminitis from eating too much sugary grass.

🤣Queen Duchess is so expressive; she pins her ears all the way back at the feeding trough she shares with Finn. She dives right in where he's eating his hay and pulls it out repeatedly to her side, then drops it to her side of the ground below. "Wowser! this is all mine, Finn, so don't even think of it being yours!"

That blue fishing-type net to scoop the hay out of the water and then refill it with cold water looks like an invention. I've never seen any horse channel do that. Very good tool, did you make it, STA?

Thanks for asking, but no, I didn't make it! I don't know where it came from, but it's helpful to clean hay from their waters!

@@SoTheAdventure Tell the girls there to use BPA-free plastic and keep on DIY their farm tools. I am doing that this morning to fill up this type of container at the water store as the little plastic bottles are manufactured with microplastic, estrogen mimickers, etc., even though the reverse-osmosis water is purified. Water in Cali. sucks as you know; you can see the pink chlorine in it when you wash the dishes and smell it, so it can't be good for humans here. But think your water in New H. is much better? The horses can certainly smell it.
