First, he might use the swords to restore himself of the injuries he got from fighting Obi-Wan in Mustafar while making himself more powerful, then he'll usurp Palpatine and take the entire Galactic Empire and take over the galaxy.

Doesn’t Soul Edge and Soul Calibur have the ability to change their forms in order to match the weapon and fighting style of their new wielder? Soul Edge split itself into two swords when Cervantes wielded it and Soul Calibur changed itself into a Zweihander when it chose Siegfried to be its new wielder.

@@samflood5631 Correct, Soul Edge and Soul Calibur alter tehmselves to match what is "Most comfortable" for the user to wield. It was much easier for Soul Edge to do this due to the myriad of souls it has consumed and thus understands many people have varying styles of combat. Soul Calibur being a more pure weapon born from only a shard or two of soul edge however, lacks the ability to take on more than the shape of basic weaponry. It has been noted to take the shape of a sword and shield at some points, but it will more often than not be found in the shape of a sword of some kind, such as when it became unstable in Siegfried's hands and becamea Zweihander of sorts.

A lot of these endings were the most memorable in the series but Mitsurugi’s ending is probably the single most badass moment in the franchise.

They should've given a serious ending to Amy, not just a parody of Raphael's one. Cassandra's ending is the best one! She is the only one who realized that both swords must be destroyed

For me, Sophitia, Talim, Yun-Seong, Xianghua and Hilde have the best endings in the game. They feel the most fleshed out and emotionally satisfying to me.

Galen Marek (The Apprentice) How he lived and where he traveled from there, is a story for another day. Aeon Calcos (Lizardman) He regained his lost soul. No one knows if he ever achieved rest. Sophitia Alexandra Though her name is not in history, she had probably lived the rest of her life in happiness. Amy Sorel And then, Raphael and Amy created their own new world... Setsuka In a small, simple gravesite in Japan, an umbrella was left by a grave when snow silently fell. Heishiro Mitsurugi Date of death is unknown and he won countless fights. He kept proving throughout his life that he was the best, and even now his name never fades. Cassandra Alexandra She carried out her conviction and protected the bonds of family. There will be peace as long as that belief remains. Raphael Sorel ...And a new world was created. Taki There is no way to know how Taki lived her life from that point on. She sealed away a great evil and disappeared from history. Siegfried Schtauffen After the cursed sword was destroyed, the power of the spirit sword covered the world with crystals. There, a utopia with no wars or suffering lied waiting. Nightmare The flames of the cursed sword furiously burn. The fires of hell will soon engulf the world in despair. Hildegarde von Krone (Hilde) The rising sun pierces the name of Soul Edge. The kingdom of Wolfkrone has proved victorious! Maxi He could never be strapped down like the clouds guided by the winds, and left like the clouds scattered by the winds. Voldo The cursed sword will never again be held by mankind as long as the guardian of the sword keeps his vigil. Tira The cursed sword lay dormant now that the spirit sword is destroyed. When it awakens, its fires will consume the world. Chai Xianghua The two disappeared together. The two powers forever rested in peace and never stirred again. Kilik He disappeared alone. The two powers forever rested in peace and never stirred again. Astaroth His evil spreads throughout the world. It is a roar that announces the beginning of the dark ages. Isabella Valentine (Ivy) The new soul lights the path to the future. She severed her bond with the cursed sword and started on her new life. Yun-Seong He acquired something much more important than power. He will now return home, much older than he was before. Seong Mi-Na When she finally settled everything, she returned home with a smile. Nathaniel William Adams (Rock) As he walked the familiar lands, he saw his son. Father and son started their new life in nature. Cervantes De Leon With this great power, he has now reached the realm of gods. The grim mythology has just started. Talim The world will now return to its natural form, and the cries of the winds have disappeared. Yoshimitsu He destroyed the evil, but his battle does not end. His ideal to save the weak transcends history and lives on today. Zasalamel He will live on forever as a guide for mankind and encouraging progress. Algol What the resurrected Algol aims to achieve is an eternal rule that will never die. Custom Character His/Her name will be engraved into history and will live on forever.

In my opinion, if not counting the guest and bonus characters, SoulCalibur 4 has the best character roster of all franchise. For me, the second best is SoulCalibur 6.

Cassandra, Voldo, Talim, Yoshimitsu, & Zasalamel all have the best Endings if you ask me. I did love how badass Mitsurugi's Ending is, too. Kamikirimusi's Ending is... sad.

I played it when I was 8. I got it for Christmas and I remember just playing the shit out of it. I would spend hours upon hours creating characters. This game also provided me with my creativity because I would draw picture after picture of Soul Calibur characters and even some OCs. Even though my drawings didn’t look that great. I still liked them because with my imagination I could just imagine what was going on in those pictures. That’s why I want to thank this game for providing me with my creativity and getting me into the soul series.

Namco/Project Soul got tired of Siegfried, and the fact he dies in almost every ending he appears in practically confirms it. [edit]: but for some reason he gave Soul Calibur to Patroklos in Soulcalibur V. It would've been better if Siegfried died and Soul Calibur choosed Patroklos to be the next wielder. It makes more sense to me. Also Algol is so light hearted it almost hurts. Honestly his character is good but he doesn't work as a boss. So easy to defeat.

Those were bonus characters. I think they held a contest and the winners would be entered into the game as characters. They used pre-existing styles. Ashlotte used Astoroth's style for example.

I was just thinking that as I came back to watch this. I've been playing SC6 and it just not original, but more of a reboot. Even when comparing the details on every character looks poorly cheap in SC6!

Anyone ever questioned now Rapheal carries around Soul Calibur like it is as light as his rapier in greatsword form? I mean I would understand if it was in rapier form, but we clearly see with both shape shifting weapons, the weight is just the same as if it was already in the shape it took, so that crap should still weight enough for Rapheal to at least have to hold it with both hands/

MazinGetter I technically wouldn't be shocked since a lot of SC characters are similar to Tekken characters, Ivy is to Lee, as Yun-Seong is to Hwoarang, as Astaroth is to Marduk, as Siegfried is to Jin, as Cervantes is to Heihachi, as Nightmare is to Kazuya, as Asholette is to Alisa, as Lizardman is to Roger (or alex) as Algol is to Jinpachi, as Yoshimitsu is to... Yoshimitsu, as Seong-Mina is to Asuka, as Sophitia is to Jun, as Inferno is to Ogre, as Elysium is to Unknown, as Raphael is to Claudio, as Talim is to Xiaoyu, as Mitsurugi is to Bryan (or Miguel), and so on

Tira's was part of the canon ending. HOnestly watch these, and play Soul Calibur 5. Ironically Sophitia's sister did the canonical ending of 5 XD

It was bit and pieces. Siegfried did clashed and defeated Nightmare, but it doesn't go the same as here. And the one that actually clashed whit Algol was Mitsurugi, but the defeat of Nightmare in a different floor cause the tower and Algol to banish leaving their fight unfinished.

I love Setsuka's and Zasalamel's endings the best. Talim's not bad too! Sophitia was also one of my favorites. But... most are weird, cringy... or even... plainly bad... I guess this is why they decided to stop cgi cutscenes in SC6...
