Christopher Jorge this is the only anime I’ve watched where I consider reading the manga besides Tokyo ghoul but that’s because Tokyo ghoul anime is super fast paced and idk what’s going on half the time or how they got to that point, I just don’t like imagining fights but otherwise I’d read the manga

Kamui Mugetsu dude you are obviously never read a manga because if u had read the u would realize that it fills the holes that anime creates animes like bleach,one piece,naruto etc they dont have these holes because the fans and the writes wouldnt allow it.We can handle fillers A LOT of them but to change the storyline like this anime or toriko or tokyo ghoul and i dont know which else promising anime then they shouldnt try to air them because all the hypeness all the epicness that some of the scenes showed are all go to waste because u realize that the story is changing and u have to admit that the way the "DEMON GOD" lost was hilarious.I mean DEATH cant defeat him but maka can because of a photograph

Kamui Mugetsu u keep calling me an idiot,a retarded but i just tried to say my opinion and i think that a lot of ppl have the same opinion like me,i dont care if u watch the anime first or read the manga...the manga is the real-main storyline if the anime has to be affected by MINOR changes then so be it.They can also put a huge amount of fillers in between chapters,still i can accept that as long as they dont change the main storyline completely and make the anime ridiculus.That is what im trying to say and is MY fucking point of view,i dont care if the animes have the purpose of making the funs read the mangas too.If u want to do a job then do it right.If havent a problem with whats happening to good animes then its ur choice and ur opinion so i dont care about it

Kamui Mugetsu I don't think he's complaining because it's not exactly the same. To be fair, there are a LOT of changes. Like major, major plot and character changes. I haven't read the whole manga yet but from what I understand there are like 120 chapters and the anime ends (very abruptly) at like chapter 43 or something... it doesn't even cover like a third of the material and the way it just screeched to a halt was admittedly pretty disappointing. Overall it just really fucked with the whole thing. Don't get me wrong, I like the anime, and I normally don't read a lot or bitch about how books/movies/anime/manga are different from each other... obviously there will be changes in any adaptation; that's just the nature of the game. But some will be better than others, though, and there's no denying that. Even as someone who had never read any of the manga the first time through, I was a bit disappointed by the ending of Soul Eater. When I found out that it went way longer in the manga and that the whole reason it was cut was because of some studio thing... well, yeah. It's disappointing. OP makes a good point.
