From terri's objection to lem running the shop and the food stamp idea and bird's comment at the end about things not changing, I'm really starting to realize that people don't even wanna be honest or helpful they just wanna have power over you. They wanna control you by using whatever power they have whether verbal or economical to negatively effect you. The sick part is its mostly family who does the stuff.

Bird was playing games at the end when she said it doesn't change things between them. When Lem flipped back on her she had the hush mouth. She was on straight mute. I was glad Kenny always had his back!

This was one of the best episodes of the season! I love to see brothas like Lem winning! Meanwhile, James Avery was a tough dude on 'Soul Food'. May he RIP!

Lem seems to be the only one who has balls , which is why I understand harvey putting him in charge. As far as bird, he was right in his final statements, although he messed up, he had the right intentions doing so. The irony of Moral dilemmas. Many men nowadays would rather a woman take care of him, lems balls wouldn't allow him to do that, and so he went with what he was familiar with. I'm not saying it's right, just the reality of the situation. Something deep within causes me to question just how much Bird truly loves lem, or maybe she was just that fed up, which is completely understandable. Byrd is pissing me off why she gotta be so tough on Lem. Everything he did was for her, AND the bills was paid, and to top it he ain't never cheated on her, she slowly pushing him away, I'm on Lem's side when he basically said he don't know how long he can take everything.

I am a female and I have to say that many women miss out on a good man by not exercising forgiveness. Everybody makes mistakes, lies, etc. in relationships. That's no reason to throw it all away without putting up a fight. Marriage is not a perfect institution and it takes a hell of a lot of work but you have to be willing to put in that work and not throw in the towel at every wrong turn. The divorce rate would drop drastically if more couples practiced forgiveness.

This is one of my favorite shows from early 20s EVER! LOVE THE WHOLE CAST. I still watch episodes on KZfaq on and off. Also season I my favorite 😍

Glad that Damon was able to reason with his over bearing dad. I love the way he advised to be careful with pushing his brother Anthony so hard in his career path in law. This is the type of things that brings divisions in families. Furthermore, if you become a helicopter parent you can drive your kid away, cause mental health issues or worse. James Avery RIP done an excellent job with playing this role. Just like he did with Uncle Phil and Sparks.

I hate how they always make it seem like Lem didn’t want to get a job but the fact was he was applying and couldn’t get hired. Like it’s demoralizing to know that you made a mistake and you paid your debt to society but you can’t move past it because people keep holding it over your head. The fact of the matter is no one was hiring him. Kenny couldn’t even hire him because of his record.

I just love Max and Kenny! They know how to treat family. Never turned their back on Lem

Terri talking about sometimes people need to work out their own problems when every five minutes her and her sisters are in each others faces trying to figure out life...her character is a highly focused, intelligent,controlling, manipulative, hypocrite. Maxine..my least likable has been a very compassionate human being these last two episodes...nice change from her usual foul attitude.Bird is still a child. IMO

Teri is successful but that law firm isn't hers to pass down, this and Kenny's job are the type you give to family who is in need and won't mess your money up

I have the dvd set but I like to watch on youtube to read the comments lol each couple gives such relatable situations! my fav is Kenny and max but lem and byrd are a close second! I love Kenny and max because hanging in a marriage with kids and trying to get ahead is ROUGH but they managed and made it through til the end and then lem and byrd getting married young with a newborn running into problems most couples do but the love and effort from both ends let them make it too! my husband and I got married in our early 20's and had many growing pains but pulled through to create a beautiful marriage of 8 1/2 years and 2 children. :) this show will NEVER get old
