Jason Pruitt I did have issues with that. I never got the Stage 2 map installed (i was trying to install the non X50 map), and I had to get on the road so I am planning to head back to finish it up. Cobb’s website has S2 for the “S” but not X50, and I think it’s a typo. I don’t think they have one available for the “S”. Soul has said they are going to hook me up with a protune as they had their development car custom tuned on the accessport. I was going to talk about my issues with the Stage 2 map but decided to wait until the next video when I had a solution, and haven’t got there yet. Sorry if it was misleading!

Yeah, that was the plan but it got dark and I was out of town doing the install. Hoping to get back to do some more work and get some more footage!

I have, but you’re right, this application made it really difficult. At our shop we keep PB and Kroil, probably should have ran to the store for one of those that day, maybe we could have saved ourselves some time!

Always have some of that and Kroil on hand at our shop, unfortunately this was at a buddy’s garage and no such luck!

BTFU...Really though as mentioned PB blaster for pentrating lube. WD-40 for cleaning or throwing in the trash. I soaked my 996TT turbo fasteners for a few days before doing the exhasut and heat cycled it too. They came off like I just put them on the day before. If I do any exhaust or corroded fastener removal I hit it with blaster a couple times at least a day in advance.

@@BoostBrothersGarage My X50 is a 2003 with the manual transmission......just wondering if I will also get a 0-60 reduction time of nearly .8 secs like you got with the Cobb Stage 1 installation. BTW the Accessport is on sale through Monday!! And we have 93 octane here in Florida.

I don’t know if you would see as big of a drop, as being able to build boost at launch (and now more boost) has to make a big difference. However, even from a roll the difference was drastic!

Interesting, I’ll have to try and track those down.
