And you know what's the worst part is : Samira actually has a legendary skin ! It's on Wild rift. It's called Samira Chromacrash, it has everything we wanted, different animations, a real good looking ult, vibrant colors and it's justified in his price. In this skin, Samira tags when walking, her homeguard animation is her riding a sort of weird vehicle. So yes, We, as League of legends players, are getting cucked recently, I still consider Odyssey Kayn worth of an ultimate skin and I still love the skin to death. But the Viego skin looks promising.

Damn riot doesn’t know what an ultimate skin is anymore. Is it actually that demanding of the game to have new transforming skins? Diana’s legendary literally changes the entire model and ability color when you press R mid battle. I feel like transforming your skin in your base with more time to load the skin should be less demanding right? I’m not a programmer tho so idk

I didn't even notice the skin had no new animations and that the guns were supposed to be alive. Damn, they hit a new low with this one. It's not even worth the Ultimate or Legendary title.

It feels even more insulting when Riot kept insisting they "added so many things it had to be increased to Ultimate price" even though it has less quality new features than Winterblessed Diana and Empyrean Pyke, but knowing Riot they would increase those skins' price to 3250 if they could over decreasing this sad pathetic excuse down to 1820 (which is still not worth)

I feel like she should have gotten an overlay on the screen that is similar to fighting games. Such as a healthbar and combo counter at the top of the screen. It would have brought something new and made it worth being a ultimate skin.

3:39 actually 🤓☝️ DJ Sona has like 2 hours worth of sound effects, each ability allows you to mix the song she's playing. That and elementalist lux's 10 form changes with different elements and personalities/voicelines is the uniqueness that i would expect for an ultimate honestly

When i heard ultimate samira, i imaged that she would change form between style ranks but no shes just a glorified legendary

Would also like to mention that the pentakill animation is entirely and i mean entirely recycled. The initial explosion is used on samira respawn, the confetti, the screen and the lights are both found in the final version of the taunt. The only thing exclusive to the pentakill is the screen turning blue.

The problem is, they give legendaries to new champs like samira who already has good animations and not to champs like Zyra, Annie, Chogath, Nami, Nidalee, Elise, Lissandra, Syndra. Who need new animations and anyone who played them would get the legendary skin just to play their favorite champ updated. Hell if they just made a legendary skin for each old champ of their base model as an updated skin id love that and be ok with it until a rework but nope

And what’s sad is that Samira hasn’t been given a real good chance ever. All her skins are fine and this puts a real bad mark on them. Her lore has been left unattended to besides lor adding a little story. Her appearance in other events has been lack luster with her just showing up just because. She’s an amazing character and design that’s has been left alone and never handled since. Defiantly not as bad as LoL’s basement of forgotten champs but she really had so much potential.

Here is a free idea for the Rhito skin team, let the guns consume her in her abilities, imagine for her E, her red gun consumes her and she dashes as a red blur, with it fading at the end of the dash, her W her blue gun consumes her, whirling around, the skin change stays for a few seconds altering her abilities. Her red for could have a more aggressive animation, whilst blue more heavy of an animation.

Calling it an ultimate skin is a stretch but it's definitely a legendary im not sure if people notice but "modern" league champ get their animation reused for their legendary skin. Star guardian kai'sa and emperyean pyke reused a lot of their base animation with little to no change

Similar case to Irelia's "Legendary" which was actually an epic skin with higher price. How tf they make a skin like Battle Queen Katarina as a legendary and then make smth like Mythmaker Irelia (So called legendary) and SoulFighter Samira (So called Ultimate) it's funny.

im just hoping that they actually update this skin by the end of the event, to make it more spectacular. i think (i may be delusional) that this looks like a legendary for now, but due to certain plot points related to the soul fighter event, samira will become more powerful and her ultimare skin will be upgraded, but since we dont know anything of the lore of the event yet...

Honestly, I saw a comment that said this on Reddit, I think a sick idea to make this feel ultimate would be to incorporate the dynamic music concept from Devil May Cry, since she is already a walking DMC reference. Imagine how sick it would be for music to play while in combat, having instruments added to the score with each Style rank, reaching its peak once you ult and staying that way until combat ends. Would still need work on her animations but AT LEAST she would have something new!

I’ve waited for her skin for a long time I was talking about her since November and give like 20 reasons to every friend why she should get legendary, I was extremely excited when they talked about Samira and how much they worked on her? On the first glance I trough she is amazing but after some time playing her on pbe and watching videos about her I became really sad, she is my absolute favourite champion and she gets treated like crap because she is too manly

I bought the Ezreal ultimate skin when it was released. Nowadays it's a bit outdated, but back then it was incredible that your outfit completely changed during your game - and in a logical way with that you become more advanced the further the game goes and you level up your ultimate. The icon was a bonus, although I don't care much for icons. This skin is just a joke, which is really disappointing. Although I don't play Samira much, she has so much potential with her kit.

I was actually thinking about buying this skin but now im going to wait or stand down until they either fix this one or make a new/better

I received 10 icons, 1 ward, and champion, when i purchased Elementalist Lux back then $20, not including the border cuz im two months late after the skin release. Garena also renamed her as "Queen Luxanna" and later changed it to original, just sharing.

I absolutely agree with everything that has been said here and I was extremely excited for when they teased samira is getting an ultamite skin because she's my favorite adc to play. Im utterly disappointed in the quality of this skin. They could have done so much more, so much more voice lines, so many animations and possibly different forms/colors of with her weapons. They could have completely changed the HUD to make it look like a fighting game style, with the combo meter at the bottom staying at E until she starts comboing. And when she gets an S, the entire HUD goes wild with fire and such. So much missed opportunity, im really sad about it.

I really love using Samira but the skin she is having isn't screaming as an Ultimate. I'm sorry, I''m disappointed at Riot at this point. If they wanted to have a killing machine Samira, then she should have looked more unbound, elated, and ecstatic as she gets more kills.

This is actually the second time Riot marked up prices for less content. Valorants recent Black Market skin featured no new Animations, no color variants, no vfx, no sfx, no kill animation, no buddy, no card, none of the extras - it merely had a new interaction of having slightly different coloring depending on side with the addition of the new Models. And it was merely 10 bucks cheaper than the newest bundle that features new animations, color variants, vfx, sfx, kill animations, alternative models, a buddy, a card, MUSIC. So this might be a trend for Riot. Reduce effort, increase prices.
