The beat is dope and really helps to escape the noise of reality. On the real though, we are sadly witnessing the death of novelty or anything genuine which came from strife or fueled real artwork like this. The internet has and will, only replicate prototypes of human creations and simulate the experiences we once genuinely shared in person without technological/frequency barriers... I know it sounds crazy, see "going viral" and other phenomena. Nobody wants to admit to the death of creativity or the imagination. Anyway, this type of nostalgia is the last emotional connection humanity will ever have to their past, in the near future as AI and quantum tech begins to merge together... as we become less human with each decade

My god I feel so grateful I was a teenager and in my early 20s in the 90s. Best decade of my life and I was flat broke for most of it. The music was it. A ten year long party & I wouldn’t change a damn thing. This album was a regular go to, chilling after a jungle rave. What a time to be alive.

HIEROGLYPHICS/SOULS OF MISCHIEF are the best group ever imo, wordsmiths, Lyrical geniuses, and changed the way people rapped. The multi's, thought pattern, and rhyme scheme was something special. Something people don't praise enough is all of the different backgrounds these guys are in. You don't usually see men like us in these outdoor surroundings in music videos, and I really appreciated seeing other black men surrounded by the beautiful California landscape with mountains, valleys, and beaches just chilling.
