Thank you for reacting to the whole thing! Y'know, Sound Horizon isn't very known in the West, so I'm always glad to see someone discovering about Revo's works. Glad to see you enjoyed this even though the album's story is quite hard to get through for newcomers (even some old fans still don't get it so well), and there isn't even one single interpretation of the lore (since Revo himself said that every interpretation is valid when it comes to Sound Horizon's stories). The most commonly accepted interpretation is that Hiver Laurant, the main character interpreted by Revo, died as a newborn and his spirit has the company of the twin dolls whose purpose is to find a story (Roman) that may lead to his birth. The dolls are represented by the Sun and the Moon, Life and Death, respectively (Morning and Evening means that). Hortense is the doll that represents Life and Violette is the doll that represents Death. In the end of each song you can hear one of them saying "Can a Roman (Story) be found there?" And it's also commonly accepted that the stories that come after the first song are seen and told by the dolls themselves. And the 11-Lettered Message can be found using the album booklet, since in the lyrics of the song that "lalalala" section of the chorus is coded with some numbers, that represent some syllables of the other songs' lyrics. When you gather all the syllables in order, you decipher the 11-Lettered Message, that is "Please, be happy" (Shi-a-wa-se-ni-o-wa-ri-na-sa-i, 11 japanese characters). But then the mystery comes: in a hidden bonus song names Yaneura Roman (The Story of the Attic), the Sage says that one of the dolls is actually lying about the stories she tells, since the dolls were created and given to Hiver's mother by Michelle Malebranche, the "main villain" of Sound Horizon. Since Hiver doesn't know wether the stories are true or not, he'll always be revolving around the Horizon and will never found a story in which he can be born (at least, this is an interpreted implication of the lies). But there's a theory that says the lying doll is actually Hortense, the doll of the Life, thus, the stories seen by her (The Leash Made of Stardust, Things of Beauty, The Twilight Sage, The Cursed Jewel (curiously the Jewels' name is Queen Michelle) and Flame) are all lies. But hey, it's just a theory. The plot actually connects to other albums, like the 9th Story Nein, which heavily complements the circumstances regarding Hiver Laurant's "death" and a possible world in which could be born into. (It's also theorized that the character Noël, which appears later on, is a Hiver Laurant that could be born). Anyway, if you liked this album, I'm sure you're gonna like the whole discography as well. I'm not asking you to react to it, but it would surely increase your experience if you could listen to more Sound Horizon's songs. And I saw you have a good taste, Tasogare no Kenja is a great song indeed (even though my fav one is The Wine of Joy and Sorrow, actually, it's my favorite song ever). Oh, and the end of the last song was abrupt because it's was cut, but if you pay attention to the first seconds of the first song, you'll notice that the beginning is actually the part that was cut from the ending, and that's because the whole album is cyclic. The beginning is the ending and the ending is the beginning. Finally, give your best to reach your dreams, my friend. I'm sure you can do it.

Revo uses artists and instruments as he sees fit to tell a story. Hence why you get such a variety in music/styling. Here are some metal-ish songs that would fit your tastes (based on your other vids): Yoiyami no Uta (The Song of Dusk) Yodaka no Hoshi (The Nighthawk Star) A major part of Revo's music is the belief that "all interpretations are valid", thanks for sharing your views and interpretation on an album that many Revo fans (called Laurants) love!!!

The album is very sad...but alot of the songs have uplifting endings. The mother from Flame decides that she will still go on enduring morning and night. The man with the unseen arm reconciles with his daughter and gives her the black guide dog. Augeste decides to make the statue of the angel in the image of his son instead of his dead wife. Lauren de Saint laurant decides that tending to the grape-vines is the greatest way to continue loving her husband. And the mother from 11-lettered message...well, the lyrics say more then I can see here...! Im very happy when anyone makes videos about SH! They deserve as much attention as Linked Horizon and more! It's funny that you mentioned in part 1 "Its not fair, I didn't get to be influenced by these people!" - Sound Horizon was my first ever musical influence!!

There are indeed live performances - one story concert where all songs from this specific album were performed in (more or less) order, and other concerts where some songs were performed kind of out of context, sometimes even with different characters. Sound Horizon concerts are just as well produced as the albums and, as you said, do have the advantage of also having the visual side of the story, so I do recommend checking them out - the KZfaq channel AnotherLaurant has a few of them with English subtitles, including the Roman story concert.
