Sound of Freedom, based on the incredible true story, shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death.

My great grandmother was a victim of human trafficking during the chaos of Europe after ww1 at the age of 13. It ruined her life, and she was forever traumatised by what she experienced and saw. She spent her whole life working to raise awareness for it. She would have been so happy to see this .

Me and my husband literally cried through out the whole movie people should be more aware of this kind of stuff that happens around us we should help in some way . This was probably the most important movie I’ve ever watched. There were so many moments when anger took over me, wanting to do something about this darkness that plagues the Earth. And that’s precisely why the media doesn’t want you to watch it. To deter you from your righteous anger, because they know how powerful it is to act upon it.

It's interesting that people feel so strongly about a movie, that uses acting, adorable kids, emotional music, and poetic dialogue to stir people up to care about children. But aren't these people who are so fired up, the same people who had no problem with kids being put in cages, with babies that were still nursing to be separated from their mothers? Just watched it yesterday, very powerful movie and eye opening for sure but after reading through comments it’s sad that a lot of people missed something huge. Cruise lines are a BIG part of this issue, the guy says it himself in the movie. Also when the kids are being transported via cargo ship, they show MSC in big bold letters. MSC is a transportation company but now also a cruise line. All the destinations that the movie shows, are popular spots for cruise lines to visit. We need to boycott the cruise lines, they have a big part in this and people missed it entirely! 😡😡😡
