Sound of Music Trail | Hohenwerfen Castle Visit

In this video we head to Werfen Austria to hike the sound of music trail from downtown Werfen to the hilltop where the Do Re Mi scene is filmed in the movie The Sound Of Music. This was an incredible trek with and awesome view! We next head to the castle that can be seen in the background of that scene the Hohenwerfen Castle. We take a guided tour and watch a falconry show. It was so crazy to see the falcons and eagles soar right over our heads and blazing speeds. In the next video we head to Salzburg to continue the Sound of Music sights.

No we did that 2 separate days. But we also travel slow and take our time. Did you see our Salzburg video?

Yes it is definitely a must do. I have heard the sound of music bike tour is really fun too!

Yes the Sound of Music is an American musical film released in 1965. It won 5 Academy awards and held the record for highest grossing screenplay for 5 yrs. It was very popular during it's time. The musical was based on the west German film The Trapp Family in 1956.

@@trailblazinpeppers They didn't show it there because they had to dub the voices. They wouldn't hear any of the original voices. So, they didn't see the movie.
