You wanna chill indoors and play some good music with party lights, go for pulse. If sound quality is your only concern and you want to take your speaker outdoors, Charge 5 is for you.

I agree. I purchased the Charge 5 for the sound quality. The Pulse I'd for a different kind of consumer who prefers decent sound but loves lighting effects. I'm sure the do a number on the battery.

Pulse is kinda stronger each specs but weaker bass, Both of them sounds good The treble of the other one is stronger although weaker amount of parsec

I have a charge 4 and I’m deciding on which to get for budget reasons, I’m pretty sure that I’m adding a charge 5 to my collection

Edit: I was using an iPad Pro 2nd gen for listening so I was using the speakers on that, and I could easily hear the difference between the pulse 4 and charge 5

The charge 5 bass is noticeably stronger. But in the actual, if you are a heavy bass fan, it could disappoint you a little bit. Its good for trance & EDM's

Both are good speakers but although 4 is weaker in every aspect , its bass is so good unlike the 5 one is so overpowered but 2 good speakers!

Honestly I have a pulse 4 it’s sound way better in real life although I’m pretty sure charge 5 sounds better.
