Since the development of quantum physics in the twentieth century, discoveries made in medical physics reveal the body as a complex interplay of biofields in which energy-information flows throughout the organism. At the level of the cell, information is exchanged through electromagnetic signals-primarily in the far infra-red spectrum-in addition to biochemical signals and sonic frequencies. At the atomic level, biological complexities, and energy-information flow, can be viewed in terms of vibration. It is in this context that vibrational medicine has its roots: considering the energetic (vibrational) interconnectedness of the mind-body system, and since the body is comprised of vibrational energy, a wide variety of vibrational and energetic modalities are available to support the patient’s physiology, including sound and music. 
 In this lecture, acoustic-physics scientist, John Stuart Reid, will distil for us an outline of his chapter on Sound Therapy and Music Medicine, authored for a new medical text book of alternative therapeutic modalities, including pain mediation by sound, and several biological mechanisms that are catalyzed in the body by specific sound frequencies and by music. Some of the mechanisms discussed in the lecture are best stimulated by full body immersion in sound or music, while others can be delivered via high specification headphones.

While I was in an ashram doing my yoga teacher training some years ago I witnessed a “miraculous” healing of a young girl practically immobilized with Lyme disease by a didgeridoo. The people using the didgeridoo had done a lot of research on it and had produced the same frequencies using modified plastic plumbing pipes!

check out Fields Medal math professor Alain Connes talk on youtube, "Music of Shapes" - it's all about the secret of the Perfect Fifth as noncommutative nonlocality truth of reality. Connes calls this "two, three and infinity." Connes is the only academic who understands the truth of music and thus music healing! I have several free books and papers on this - see my "Ancient Advanced Acoustic Alchemy" for details - it's a docdroid. Or my youtube channel links to my academia edu site for my free papers and books. I did my master's thesis on this topic back in 2000 and then had to realize the noncommutative secret of quantum biology after that. Quantum physics professor Basil J. Hiley corroborates that quantum biology has been wrong to not consider noncommutativity - the macroquantum coherence is maintained by noncommutaitvity as nonlocal resonance.

This seems to be talking about what Rife machines already do. Also he seemed to discount shape but the shape itself creates a frequency. On the plate the sand represents the frequency but still creates the frequency when the sound is not playing. Looking into BioGeometry has excellent research on shape. I do distance 'healing' where I use shape, intention and anything that I intuit in the moment to make a significant shift in the areas of the body that are not resonating at their optimal. This has resulted in clearing disease, disc regeneration in the spine and clear various physiological conditions. This is basically generating enough frequency (through my thoughts) to clear energies that are vibrating out of harmony, which then allows the body to 'heal'. Often its not just about the body but also the field around the body and also the negative self talk of a person as the body is listening.

Study Fields Medal math professor Alain Connes youtube talk "Music of Shapes" - only Connes understands the truth of acoustic resonance of sound from quantum nonlocality. Time-frequency is before spacetime geometry. Quantum physics professor Basil J. Hiley has more details on this noncommutative nonlocality secret. Hiley was the collaborator of David Bohm. Meditation is based on listening as logical inference to the formless realm - not based on WEstern symmetric spacetime geometry. Platonic philosophy is a deep "Lie of the Lyre" when Philolaus flipped his lyre around to create the irrational magnitude symmetric geometry that tried to contain the noncommutativity into commutative geometry. This is the "deep pre-established disharmony" as the "guiding evoltive principle" of Western science as math professor Luigi Borzacchini explains.

The water frequency was explored by Dr. Emoto who wrote several books on his experiments on how sound, music, words and chants affected water. He also had results from photos and art on the water used.

Emoto results were no replicated by others and his "research" have several flaws and has not been published in peer review Journals. Actually is not real science at all, he manipulate and cherry picked a lot of data.

Better to check out Dr. Mae-Wan Ho, the quantum biologist who studied the quantum water research of Emilio del Guidice. They relied on a wrong model of science but they got the concept correct - how the splitting of the water creates virtual negative frequency photons for creating new matter for healing. This is called the "fourth state" of water. Check out Fabio Cardone's work in Italy using ultrasound for this same splitting of water as alchemical spacetime sonofusion energy in iron, etc.

I love how the Bible says in the beginning was the WORD, the WORD was with God, and the Word was God, and literally the first thing he spoke was light. Another place speaks about the "song of creation"

yes the secret of the Logos as the Word is actually Pythagorean Logos as the EZ water that he refers to. It's not the Phi ratio but rather 1:2:3:4 as noncommutativity nonlocality. See my free book "Ancient Advanced Acoustic Alchemy" for details.

In the beginning was the Word i.e. sound...let there be light as you spoke of sound creating light. Chakras look cymatic...cymogliffs I think you called them. OM the primordial sound of us and the universe. Absolutely fascinating video.. Enlightened awareness proves OM exists as sound beyond the ears.

yes Indian Yoga, as James Mallinson points out, describes the "OM of light." Also in Indian traditional music it's well known that the Perfect Fourth is NEVER a natural overtone of the fundamental tone or root tonic. This is the secret of noncommtutativity as the "three gunas of no guna" - the oldest philosophy of India as the secret of OM. Nondual Jnani guru Ramana Maharshi calls this the "Undifferentiated Triad" of nondualism as Mouna Samadhi or "silence" samadhi.

That is thoroughly debunked - Hertz already wrongly assumes a symmetric geometry as time-frequency uncertainty. so in music if you change the frequency you just are changing the tonal key.

I don't think we need science to know that music heals. I think it's more like that materialistic science needs to give way to what's been known by traditional medicine, sound healing, shamanic drumming for hundreds of years and integrate that into western medicine.

sure - check out Professor Jerome Lewis' youtube talk "Music Before Language" - he is an anthropologist who lived with our "pygmy" ancestors that split off from our original human culture, the San Bushmen, 225,000 years ago as per the latest DNA science. Yet both cultures maintained the same focus of music as healing.

Hertz is the wrong concept because ever since Philolaus sound got wrongly defined as irrational magnitude symmetric geometry. Time-frequency is actually complimentary opposites or noncommutativity. This is what Fields Medal math professor Alain Connes calls "two, three, and infinity" - see his youtube talk "Music of Shapes" for details - basically if you have a fundamental tone it naturally resonates with 2/3 as C to F undertone and C to G as 3/2 overtone.

yes but also if you read quantum physics professor Lawrence Domash he explains that the mantra works to cancel out the left brain thinking thereby opening up the quantum potential nonlocality - a negative frequency or negative resonance of 1/2 spin. So it's called the Law of Phase Harmony by Louis de Broglie quantum nobel physicist. You can look up my free "ancient advanced acoustic alchemy" book for details on the OM or AUM chant. It is based on the 2/3 frequency ratio that he referred to earlier on the talk - it's an infinite resonance called noncommutativity or the "three gunas of no guna" in Indian yoga philosophy. thanks

You can read D. Scott Rogo's research on NAD sound - the natural acoustics of NDE music experiences - it's all natural overtones and undertones. So the music heard is usually singing or string instruments using natural resonance.

He refers to Helmholtz who did devise a spherical resonator. The actual origin of the healing is from a noncommutative torus that is formless - so it's the 5th dimension of time-frequency nonlocality. We can listen to it and logically infer it and it's proven that listening to music is up to 10 times faster than Fourier time-frequency uncertainty. Just study the Bloch Sphere for details - the conversion of time to frequency is what Heisenberg discovered to be noncommutative nonlocality. So it's inherently a "transitional frequency" that is superluminal.

yes Haley Reinhart has a great chest voice range. The female right side vagus nerve is the key to music as healing energy. Check out the Eland Bull dance ritual - it's from our original human culture of the San Bushmen. The females sing based on first menstruation when the N/om healing energy is strongest - at the full moon. In our original human culture the females sing all night long nonstop while the males dance all night long - to create the healing energy together.

Yes only the Golden Ratio he refers to wrongly assumes a symmetric geometric magnitude for time-frequency. The 2/3 frequency he refers to is the actual secret - called noncommutativity. It's the original Pythagorean Logos. The Church wrongly adopted Platonic philosophy that promoted the Lie of Philolaus about his Lyre - and then picked up by Archytas. Then Boethius tried to understand Archtyas and then Saint Augustine tried to underestand Boethius. By the time of John Scotus Erigena in the 9th Century the Platonic philosophy was firmly taken up from Islam into the Carolingian empire of the Benedictine Monks. You can read Professor David F. Opioids derived from plants (even synthetic) are not directly harmful at ALL. It is the toxins that are placed in the opioids that cause priblems (what addicts call "cut" such as various powders and such to increase profit) Also, current opioid abuse causes social and economic problems. But, lets say for example, a man had unlimited acces to pure clean opioids and uses proper sterile instruments, he would live to an old age with extremely minimal damage from the opipids themseleves.

Frequency is a Western concept that wrongly assumes a "geometric magnitude" definition of time. That's why Western science has "time-frequency uncertainty" or Fourier Uncertainty. In fact we can hear up to ten times FASTER than Fourier Uncertainty. This listening process does go into the quantum nonlocality as the source of our perceptions and healing as the Law of Phase Harmony (discovered by Nobel physicist Louis de Broglie). So the secret "frequency" is actually what Fields Medal math professor Alain Connes calls, "Two, three and infinity." This means that 2/3 is C to F as an undertone while C to G as an overtone. Neither of them have realized the secret of noncommutativity that Fields medal math professor Alain Connes calls simply "two, three infinity." The reference to the 2/3 frequency pitch for healing DNA was close - citing the Russian research discovering the sequence of nitrogen in DNA. Actually there is a much deeper meaning of 2/3 since 2/3 is C to F as undertone and 3/2 is C to G as overtone. This creates infinite resonance as noncommutativity nonlocality.
