Really enjoyed your review! My experience with Soundcore in general is that out of the box their Signature sound is muted somewhat but with the EQing ability they improve dramatically. So if the sound on these is good to start with, these must be quite good! I may have to try them🙂

can confirm that the bass is strong & natural. BUT i also agree that the high end is powerful... not over the top but very well mixed. Like the reviewer mentioned, they take on a slight v shape which is good for bass and clarity, the mids are tucked back a tiny bit which i LOVE. Compared to headphones like the shure se215 which has heaps of muddy mids at the forefront, the a20i has more clarity and bass - the V shape

Great review! Just snagged a set tonight for arrival tomorrow. Curious how they will work as the siblings to the Liberty 3 Pro and Space A40 I use routinely. Mics on the A20i are more than sufficient per your tests. Will be curious to hear how they stack up against the Moondrop Nekocake (black) used as my common daily drivers. Thx!!

Got a pair waiting for me at home, not sure what to expect for $30. My 4 year old BOSE Soundsport no longer hold a charge, won't stay on more than 40 minutes. Slowly becoming less over time, so naturally I needed a new pair. Not willing to spend what my wife did on the Bose I took a chance on these😂 We'll see how they are soon as I get off work. Thanks for the review.

They sound pretty good. Bose has a deeper spacey sound. These are more like a boombox sound if that makes sense. 😄🤣 my bad, I'm not good at explaining the difference, but I will say for $30, their battery life is crazy. I get 8 hours on one bud and then swap out to the other to finish my shift. I've been using them consistently for 4 days a week 10 hours a day. So far they've been holding up well. I don't regret the buy. Hope that helps

R100 is a bit older technology so I think these would be a nice upgrade for you. Everything about the A20i is a step forward from R100.

Excellent review, I got these to replace Soundcore Spirit 2 which I some how lost. I'm still unsure how you get the 28hr play time, the case has a battery? You have to insert buds into case to charge? So it would be 28hr non continuous playtime? Again such an informative review, thank you.

Hi, thank you so much! Yes, the case will recharge the buds when they are in it (up to about 4 times to 100%) so the 28hrs total includes the charges you get from the case.

Im between A20i, qyc ht05, Moondrop space travel or skullcandy indy evo which ones would you recommend? My main use will be listening to music. Loved the video btw

For me this would come down to chosing between the HT05 and the Moondrop. If you want more features and some EQ ability go with the HT05. If you think you’re going to be completely ok with the Moondrop tuning, go with Moondrop!

I love everything about soundcore. I have four pairs of Tozos, none of which are controlled by an app. The Tozos have great sound but the Soundcore is refined.

Watch n Listening to this with a20i. Good bass and sound for the money and I actually like this better compared to the beat buds. For $29 aud it's a big big bang for your bucks👍 Oh yeah I put that Emily duhe and rude by magic song yes I totally agree with you. And this earbuds it get really loud too, if I put it on more than 60% volume it get to a level that is too loud. 40-50% is the comfortable listening in my ear with this buds. The connection range is better than my sennheiser momentum3 hands down👍

I got the Earfun Air Pro 3 at your recommendation but after getting the Soundcore vr p10 I feel the Eafun has some sort of veil to them compared to the acoustic eq setting on the Soundcore. Q: How does the A20i compare to the Earfun Air Pro 3?

Basically all of three earbuds you tested in car for call quality are garbage when noise introduced. When there's no noise I like more Mini Pro HS since your voice sounds more natural without those high pitch sounds with A20i.

Moondrop does have better detail retrieval and overall audio performance (especially if you care about more balanced sound) but it’s very limited in EQ and other options compared to A20i so bear that in mind when you’re making your choice!

It's probably worth going through the EQs and seeing what you like. I love the Acoustic and Piano settings on these for Apple and Spotify music but we all have different tastes 🙂

IEMs will always sound better than TWE (or at least they should). It’s like comparing apples and oranges (a little bit).

Depends on what matters to you the most. In terms of sound quality: yes, I like them A LOT more than A40.

Soundcore A20i is only IPX5.. It's water resistant, but not against heavy rain or water submerging..

@elijahtan-whyusehandle fell in a glass of water for like 30 sec took them out and out them In the sun the next day using them. Everything sounds perfect still. Will up date if it stops working.

@@thepolishpotato42 I had three soundcore earbuds, none of them survived 2 years, perhaps they use extremely lower quality builds and hardware that does not stand the test of time. Tozo on the other hand survived for 3 years and more. Also I have a p20i, its the same, and quite uncomfortable and cheap plastic, people usually say " that's what we get for the price" is a very underrated statement for soundcore buds.
