EQ updated. I dropped my highs from +2 to +1. Had a little to much bite for me in that range.

I've been enjoying the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus since receiving it a few weeks ago. You've probably seen some criticism of the "6kHz peak" probably best explained by Alan Ross. A recent firmware update (0.34) was intended to optimize the high frequencies. I applied 0.34 yesterday, and I think it sounds great. Actually I thought the Motion Boom Plus already sounded great before the update, but I do think 0.34 reduced some high frequency harshness. I have no hesitation giving Motion Boom Plus my top recommendation. Results of upcoming blind comparisons will be very interesting!

Yes it thought it sounded great as well. But you can hear those high jump at you from time to time. I dropped my light down to +1 no long +2

I think results are different for iPhone and android. My experiences didn’t match with Alan because he uses android and I’m on an iPhone I believe.

If you you experience the bulging passive radiators in the sun defect try leaving the charger port open they said they will replace it for free when a upgraded model is released

Honestly I was very excited on getting this speaker, since this would deff be a big upgrade from my current speaker, the OG Soundcore Motion+, but I think imma hold off for now knowing about the overheating problem made me concerns from buying it, I unfortunately I live somewhere pretty hot, I'm from the Philippines, so the overheating will be a big problem here. I was honestly honna go for the Tribit Stormbox Blast, but it is a bit too big and heavy for my trip, the Boom Plus is just half the weight of the Tribit. Now just hoping and waiting for Soundcore the solve this issue, and hopefully would release a fixed or upgraded version of the MB+

Which Amazon are you looking at? Because the US Amazon doesn't have a listing for it yet. I only see it on the Canadian Amazon, so $259 Canadian is around $200 US

@@WannaBuyIt Ah ok, nice. I did the $1 Dollar down to pre-order the Soundcore. To be honest with you, I'm a bit disappointed with the GO. It's loud for sure, but the sound isn't that great. Luckily you can still EQ it to your liking. Make sure to update the app and do the upgrade on the speaker.

Apparently opening the charging port solves the problem its because the warm air is expanding and has no way of escaping causing the bass radiators to bulge out. Soundcore is working on a solution and affected speakers will be replaced under warranty

I have the W-KIng and for the 80 bucks it cost me ( at the time ) Im so glad that I didnt pay 180 for that thing. Just think 20 bucks more and you could get the Dolphin (SP-2100RBT)

When it comes to deep bass there is no comparison against the JBL Boombox 2, soundcore motion boom plus lacks the deep bass that the motion boom had so that holds it back.
