I seriously have more blutooth speakers then I need but I don't care the collection with keep growing lol, anywho I live how this video is about the (now) 2 speakers that I love to use solo at work!!! I don't feel as obligated to bring a second speaker because they are just sooo damn good on there own. The boombox 2 is also a good loan speaker don't give me right don't get me wrong but given how easy party boost is to use I can't help but want you bring other party boost speakers with me lol and sometimes that's just a bit too much to carry😅

Boom Plus is really trash compared to the OG Boom.

I returned my xg500 for a Boombox 3,i thought the Sony's sounded muffeld

well they releasing the boom 2 plus now and apparently can compete with boombox3 we will see soon though

The plus doesent heat up by it self . The problem is if u are outside and sun is shining the speker heat up very fast in the sun. And the passiv radiator blow out . And the sound is broken. For an OUTSIDE speaker a desaster.

So let's not inundate this board with your lack of command for the language, and keep the discussion relevant to the subject. The Soundcore is being praised for it's sound quality and loudness. My suggestion was to compare it to the Tribit, as that is considered by many as one of the best boomboxes. I'm not going to sit and list the differences or the advantages one has over the other. This is something that you can do on your own. However, when we talk about that sound signature, the Tribit beats out both of these speakers. If he has the chance, the reviewer should pick up one and compare it to these 2 boomboxes. He won't regret it.

Deffo! Tribit has a lot more mid bass and deep bass. Its a legit boombox. But Sony sounds more hi-fi.

I just ordered a refurbished Sony XG500 for the price of a brand new Motion Boom Plus ($170) on ebay so I think I got a pretty good deal. I ordered a Sony XB33 refurbished from the same seller, and it looked and ran as if it was brand new so I think my XG500 won't disappoint either.

@@8kings23 I got mine yesterday and just came back from work with it. I work outside in large urban community gardens and it is amazing! All my coworkers love the Sony XG500 especially when I told them I got it for $169. They kept saying it was way better than the JBL Extreme 2 they were using before and my Sony XB43. Reviews online say the speaker isn't loud enough but I say it isn't loud enough compared to other portable speakers in its price range but not significantly worse. It's so loud that my coworkers were only playing music at no more than 70% volume for the majority of the time. If we were playing on music on the JBL Extreme 2 or Sony XB43 we would always have the volume at 100%. There were two times today I thought the noises I was hearing when I was away from the worksite were coming from somewhere else. I walked offsite to use the public bathrooms throughout the day and I was several dozen feet away from the speaker. I was hearing bell noises thinking it was the church down the street ringing their bell only to find out as I got back on site that one of my coworkers was playing a song that used bell noises. The other time a coworker was playing a bass heavy song and I could hear the bass thumping from so far away along with the rapper's voice so clearly. I asked my coworkers if they were playing at 100% volume and they said they had it at around 60-70% because any higher was too loud since the speaker was only about 20-30 feet away from them. Yet at that percentage, I could hear the speaker from at least double the distance clearly. The battery life is pretty good, we used it for 5 and a half hours straight at 60-70% volume most of the time switching between megabass and live mode. The lights were off of course. The speaker had only used 40% of its energy. So that means I could have used it for up to 12-14 hours nonstop on a single charge using more than 50% volume.

They are both really good but imagine the soundcore boom the size of the Sony. The soundcore motion boom would be loud as heck

I've just recieved my tribit stormbox blast and it's unbealivably good sounding.

Issue has been resolved and Anker confirmed the speakers shipping from Amazon no longer have the heat issue. The Tribit Stormbox Blast does look like a good speaker.

Tribit is twice the weight of motion boom plus and is not convenient for a walkabout.

I am coneidering Tribit, in what areas is it better and is it weaker in any parts?
