I do not recommend Q30 but suggest you get Q35 and Q45 and try for yourself . Your Welcome My Friend . I Had The Space Q45s In My Amazon Cart And Removed Them When I Heard El Jefe Say No Passive Listening On Q45 . Other Reviewers Have Said This Too . What Does Not Make Sense Is How Do There's Not Do Wired Passive Listening But I Ordered Mine And They Do Passive Wired Listening . Alot Of Even The Most Honest Reviewers Are Clearly Reading From A Spec Sheet And Not Checking To See For Themselves . Alot Of Commenters On Various Q45 Review Videos We're Bothered By There Being No Passive Listening On Q45 . I Had Dialogues With Many Of Them Letting Them Know That These Reviewers Are Incorrect . Wired Listening When I'm Not On The Go Is Unrivaled By Anything Bluetooth Can Offer . Try It For Yourself And See . this video is months old, however i just ordered my own Q45s and i am REALLY hoping that when it arrives, i can listen WIRED and POWERED OFF to hear what you hear. Because everywhere i look, everyone says that once that 3.5mm jack is plugged into its hole the headphones turns on automatically. SO i am looking forward to testing it

Thx 4 checking out my video . Also I Did A Comparison Video Between Q35 VS. Q45 And Would Love It If You'd Check It Out . . . Before I recieved my Q45 I actually cancelled the order as 2 or 3 reviewers had said NO WIRED PASSIVE LISTENING is possible on Q45 . . . I ended up ordering Q45 again and when I got them the 1st thing I did was plug in the 3.5 aux without turning them on and the sound was excellent so myth busted so to speak Atleast for me . . . While Still Wired And Powered Off I then hit the ANC button which did & will still cause MY Q45 to power on and immediately the audio sounded and still sounds awful when I do this today as well . . . If I Turn My Q45s On And Then Plug In The Wire MY Q45s Power Off Immediately But About 3 or 4 people have said their Q45s Do Power On When They Plug In The Wired So I'm Thinking They Recieved A Defective Set . . . I Owned A Blue Pair Of Q45s As Well And Had No Issues Listening Wired Passively AKA Powered Off . . . MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO WHEN LISTENING WIRED PASSIVELY is the wired that come with the Q45 make sure the straight end is in the Headphone And The Angled End Is Plugged into your phone tablet etc. Because is you do it backwards the audio will have no bass and the mids and highs will suffer dramatically as well . My wired set up is zfold3 to Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE to Q45 but you don't have to use a dongle but it does make the Q45s sound even better when listening wired passively AKA powered off .

Mine do work with cable and don't turn the headphones on. The only thing I hear is that the quality of music diminishes over cable. Perhaps we loose the amplification and equalizer power when they are off.

I know if your 3.5 aux cable has a mic on it then you can use it with phone calls if I'm not mistaken . As for the xbox Skype etc I'm not sure as I never used them Wired in that way . On A Side Note Avoid The new Soundcore Space One As They Sound Awful . I Also Did An ULTIMATE COMPARISON VIDEO Q35 VS Q45 If You're Interested . Thx For Your Sub And Your Comment .

Hi there, the video almost about a year now. But i'm curious about asking this. Are the microphone input also transmitted through wired connection? Or is it just giving input when on bluetooth mode? Thanks For Your View And Comment . I think if your 3.5 wire has a mic on it you should be fine otherwise I'd assume it would just use the mic on your phone . I will try and do a test to make sure but I stay so busy with other things it's hard to do these tests . I Did.A.Q35 VS Q45 ULTIMATE COMPARISON Video. Please Check It Out . I've Also Done.My E.Q. Settings Videos Too . And What Ever You Do Don't Fall The The Lies About How Good The Soundcore Space One Are As They Are Inferior Sounding And Build That I Can Not Believe Soundcore Would Release To The Public . I don't have the equipment to measure loudness I only need about 50 percent from either to be completely pleased . . . The Q35 Has The Punchier Bass No Mather What Custom or Soundcore EQ I Use . Even the Q45 bass up feature doesn't give them as much bass as the Q35 . Percentage Stronger I'd Can Only Say It's Quite Noticeable The Difference Between Q35 and Q45 . For EDM I Honestly Would Go With Q35 . . . I did a Q35 VS Q45 ULTIMATE COMPARISON VIDEO Q35 VS Q45 if you're interested. . .

Thank you so much man!. ive been looking for quite a while for a decent pair of headphones i can use wireless for some high quelity music playback while im at work, and play some games wired with my v-moda boom pro microphone whice goes into the 3.5 mm jack on the headphone. would you recommand this headset for this purpose?

If I’m not mistaken as soon as I plugged in the cans powered on themselves. I didn’t do it & I do remember saying holy crap this sounds like shit. I just took the wire out. When I want to b critical I always use wire but w/ IEM’s. I love my Q45’s though.

Yes wired listening is the best but we do have LDAC On Android For Bluetooth . Just Make Sure The Q45 Is Powered Off Else The Audio Will Sound Awful . If I Have My Q45 On Plugging The Wire In Cuts Them Off However If I Hit The ANC Button It Powers The Q45 Back On And The Sound Becomes Awful .

That's Something I'd Say Is Wrong With Your Particular Pair . If I Have My Q45 Powered On And Then Plug The 3.5 Aux Cable In My Q45s Cut Off Automatically Which Is What You'd Want Them To Do As Powered On When Wired The Audio Sounds Awful . If My Q45s Are Off When I Plug The 3.5 Aux Cable In My Q45s Remain Off Unless I Push The ANC Button On My Q45s And They Will Power On Making The.Audio Sound Awful . Get In Contact With SoundCore I Understand They've Awesome Customer Service . I've Never Had To Call SoundCore Customer Service But I've Heard Many Times How Awesome Their Service Is .

Hi, do you see a difference between wired(24:48) and aac for losslesss audio? Does the soundcore app recognises the q45 while connected passively wired only? If not then does the phone or laptop eq setting has any impact on the sound quality?

Thx For Your Comment I Will Try To Answer As Best I Can All Your Questions . The SoundCore app will not be in use when listening wired passively as the Q45 will not be on this won't be connected to Bluetooth . . . By 24 48 I'm assuming you 24 48 bit audio . All I can say is the Q45 sound their best when Wired powered off AKA passively . My Wired set up is zfold3 to Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE to Q45 . I never use AAC CODEC only LDAC With Priority On Sound Quality Which Is As Good As LDAC CODEC Can Sound . . . As For Your Question About EQ When Wired . I Used The Built In EQ On My ZFold3 While Wired Passively And It Did Change The Audio While Wired So Yes Your PC Or What Ever Q45 Are Connected To Should Do The Same . My Phone's EQ Also Works Over LDAC Bluetooth As Well . On A Side Note If You Listen Wired Passively AKA Powered Off And Press The ANC Button The Q45 Will Power On And You'll Immediately Hear The Audio Sound Terrible So Remember To Have The Q45 Powered When Listening Wired . I'm Listening To TIDAL NOW Wired Passively And According To My Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE The Audio Is PCM 44.1/48/88.2/96 KHZ But This May Change Depending What I'm Listening To At Any Given Time But OMG It Sounds So AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied . I Just Changed To Another Song On TIDAL And My Hidizs S9 Pro Says It Is Playing At 176.4 / 192 KHZ . Let Me Know If I Forgot Anything .

@@sarojmahalik the best sound in my opinion on tidal is when wired using my Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE and yes to me it's a difference . LDAC With Priority On Sound Quality When listening to TIDAL Sounds So Good And It's Wireless So More Often Than Not I'm Listening Via LDAC This Way . I Encourage You To Try And See For Yourself As Sound Is Subjective . Got my Q45s today, tried them both in bluetooth and wired mode, and I gotta say I'm quite disappointed. Powered off in wired mode the sound is noticeably worse, really muffled and unclear. As soon as you press the power button and the voice tells you the battery level, the sound is back to normal, the same as when listening via bluetooth. So no, I'm afraid the passive wired mode is rather unusable, a last resort really for when you can't top the battery up, but listening regularly in this mode - no thank you.

I'm sorry to hear this . I think quality controller has let some Q45s out with backwards wiring or something . I've heard a few people say they power off their Q45 to listen wired and when they plug in the wire the Q45s power on which is just the opposite of what happens with my Q45s and Q35s and Q30s Even . I start with my Q45s powered off then plug in the wire and the sound in my set is awesome . Now while they are powered off and wired if I press the ANC button the Q45s power on and the sound goes from AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied to absolutely awful . Your like the 3rd or 4th person that's described an experience that makes me think that somehow SoundCores quality controller is lacking a small percentage of the time . If I were you I'd contact SoundCore and explain this issue I've heard they go above and beyond to make things right .

I TOTALLY agree, tested with BT, wired (power on), wired (passive). BT is GREAT, love them. Wired (power on) I still love them, looses the very slight lag you get from bluetooth latency & slightly clears up the sound. Wired (passive) sounds like I'm listening inside a tin can with distortion, cant do that mode.

I think the whole sound profile of the Q45 seems more refined over the Q35 . While there is less Bass in the Q45 the bass is still really good . Check out my Q35 VS Q45 ULTIMATE COMPARISON VIDEO And let me know what you think .

I don't have equipment to measure . I do not notice any difference between them personally when I'm listening at the same volume level with My Q35 Vs My Q45 . Ida got back with an answer but I didn't get a notification that you commented .

You are right. They do have passive listening with the cable, and like you say, I feel that the quality diminishes a little with the cable vs bluetooth. Thanks for your review.

I think you mean life Q30 . I listen to my life Q30 Wired Passively And They Sound Way Way Way Better . The Mic On The 3.5 cable I Think Would Still Work Wired Passively As The Q30 Mic Would Get Power From The Phone I'd Think . On a side note If You're An Android User : With my Q30 I Use A FIIO BTR3K Bluetooth Reciever and a 12 inch 3.5 aux cable plugged into my Q30 . This way I can get LDAC Bluetooth Codec & The Bluetooth Audio Is Very Noticeably Better . The BTR3K Has A Mic Built In . Or You Could Use FIIO BTR5 . Just Remember To Have The Q30 Powered Off Whenever Listening With Any Wire . I hope this helps Also Check Out My Q35 VS Q45 ULTIMATE COMPARISON VIDEO

If it works for you that way I am glad . ....My Q35 My Q45 My Q30 by soundcore have to be powered off when wired Otherwise there is no Bass and audio is suppressed. ....This is because when the headphones are powered on and the other powersoure like my dac/amp the headphones are plugged into these 2 power sources interfere with each other . If you believe it's better your way then I guess you cracked the code but it definitely does not work that way for me .

For Wired Passive Listening U don't have to use a dac amp dongle like my hidizs s9 pro however I've tried every Wired listening set up and the Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE just gives the best Wired sound experience. U can plug direct from phone if it has 3.5 output . U can use a USB c to 3.5 adaptor if phone has USB c output . These all sound good with the Hidizs S9 PRO DAC AMP DONGLE Sounding on another level entirely.

I do wired listening this way with soundcore Q30 Q35 Q45 , KOSS KPH40 Utility & KPH30i , Phillips SHP 9500 , LetShouer S12 Planar Magnetic IEMs , WillSound MK2 , Apple Earpods For Android , Monk Plus . For The Money I Have Not Found A Better Wired Option Than The HIDIZS S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE . Alot Of These Reviewers I've Come To Realize Are Really Hypemen And Salesmen .

q45 currently available for 70$, thats the reason why i am considering this headphones. i want to use em mainly with PC (wired connection). I dont need any additional features like ANC or LDAC. The only thing i want is the best possible sounding for the price range of 70-100$. So the question is... are these headphones good just following plug & play or i need any additional audio hardware (external audio card, amps...) in order to get somewhat good sound? Perhaps there are more suitable options on market for my use purposes? Id appreciate any advices and suggestions. Thanks in advance

Thanks for your question . I Was Not Sure When Discount Code Would End . Sound Wise No As The Q35s Sound Is Much Punchier . Both Punch Hard With The Q35 Just Punching Harder . The Q45 Does Have Really Good Sound With Far Better ANC & TRANSPARENCY MODE Over Q35 . Ultimately We Have To Buy And Try For Ourselves . I Hope This Helps .
