@@jpegmilitia Dave Grohl isn't exactly the bottom of the pile either. Chris' loss was hard, as was Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley. While not from Seattle but still very much part of the scene, Scott Weiland was a tough loss as well. How close were we to losing so many others? How close ARE we to losing others? What can we do to help? #Rock Lives Matter!

Master chef grunge god Chris Cornell. Grilled cheese and pizza was his favorite foods. Mostly pizza Before working at rays boathouse he was a pizza delivery guy. When I was younger I faintly remember being in a line and there was a bunch of old people naked in lines and I was behind a person and we were all facing a brick building. I wonder if my past life last breath on this earth was in a concentration camp

Ima let you finish but AIC has the heaviest grunge records of ALL TIME. People still debate on whether they're a heavy metal band or a grunge band. I say heavy metal with grunge lyrics (Layne era) and leave it at that.

@@Smarzled You could say that about a lot of the grunge bands. A lot of people say Nirvana was punk, not grunge. Even some people say Soundgarden was psychedelic rock. So idk, due to this, im just gonna cound AIC as grunge if we could nirvana and Soundgarden

For Soundgarden to reunite and be playing and putting out new music was incredible. Chris Cornell still sounded amazing, even years later. but I bet after the shows, and when he wasn't working or spending time with his family, Chris Cornell's thoughts of depression probably got to him. when he was alone, he probably found it difficult to quite the noise in his head. he wasn't happy, despite his outward appearance. his death is very sad.

i always thought Soundgarden was an okay band... But i always rehear albums i dont fully understand, just incase you see it in a new light. And maybe 2months ago, i put on Superunknown album and everything clicked, the band made sense to me. Its an aquired taste that takes more than a few listens to really embrace every second of the music. Even the minimal moments. And thats the beautiful part of this band. And thats my favorite type of music. Mailman was the song that blew me away.
