In an interview, these guys talked about how people are serious backstabbers in the industry, and this song is about how they wish the world was different. That something, or someone would come and destroy all the fake liars. That they, SoundGarden, were able to avoid that through, luck and tenacity. Good on them, love the song too!

the meaning that the song carries for me is waiting for things to change. for anything to disrupt the melancholia and suicidality I'm faced with every day of being impoverished and houseless. the mundane yet tragic reality of the world being washed away by a black hole sun, leaving nothing to remain. this song is the call of the void for me, and that might be a strange thing to say, but this song perfectly encompasses every bit of pain that I've felt in my life, and the wish for all the evil and suffering in the world to be destroyed.

Damn....I hope you'll recover in a positive manner...good day to you. This has affected me, more than I thought since I didn't listen to any of their albums but rather several songs in the last year before he passed. Some of these songs grew to be very powerful to me, they connected with me....in how I had been struggling through depression before, and so had my friend, who succumbed to her situation and committed suicide. Damnit....this is....crazy. It's simply wild that...this occurred.

The elites murdered him, because he was looking into their evil crimes and pedophilia. No joke. He was working on a documentary at the time. A few other musicians on the same documentary all "apparantly committed suicide". The elites do this all the time. They murdered Kurt Cobain, and Prince too.

The first video I saw late at night that let me know that I could feel however I wanted it. I had no real appreciation of music but it really cut me to quick and it became my favourite in short order. It still means a lot to me so many years later.
