Chris Hall yeah true but Chris Cornell had a lot of odd signatures in these songs. And to do that while harnessing a voice of his magnitude is no easy feat. Name me another guitarist and singer/songwriter who could do this as effortlessly? While harnessing such soul and tenacity.

there was a time when the crowd was moshing or jumping on this song and not taking photos...
@ebannaw8 жыл бұрын
Good. Jumping around is one thing. Moshing, though, is as fucking stupid as Satan, and just about as dumb as holding your phone up to post pictures to your shitty facebook or twitter where you think people actually give a fuck about your ephemeral worldly life. The proper way to enjoy sonic vibrations such as these is through trance like transcendental states which are essentially divine or religious ecstasy. Period. There is no other proper way. One must simply feel it and allow it to absorb into their soul.

This is weird time signature, not only that, it's the beat the drummer plays that makes it strange and difficult. Awesome musicianship. Actually the end of the song that beat Cameron plays thru that part is the easier beat of the 2 in that song to me.

Perhaps due to hindsight, knowing what we know now, but Chris sure seems depressed here. And Ben and Kim look like they are going through the motions. That or perhaps they are all going through the motions? Perhaps a rough or bad day? I have no idea, but this sure is a sombre looking bunch (crowd too). Could also be because the song was started well above tempo and they are all in heavy concentration (seems Matt pulled the tempo back somewhat, which was needed). Sounds great overall, though. RIP Chris. Thank you for the memories.
