Both of these headphones were sent to me for the purpose of review and can be purchased on amazon.com. They are very similar headphones but I find one of them to be superior. Watch the video for my thoughts on these headphones.

I wore my headphones but never actually turned them on. Having a conversation is a good way to ensure that you are actually staying at conversational pace. Haha.

The Truefree O1 is IPX 4 while the Soundpeats GoFree 2 is IPX 5.

In some country, truefree 01 is soundpeats go free 1. I dont know why, but this funny because in my country you can get go free 1 aka true free 01, but you cant find go free 2.

A few people have commented on this video advising that both headphones are made by the same brand, but SOUNDPEATS is the higher end version. Kind of like Toyota and Lexus.

Truefree o1 is the same as go free 1st Gen, just different branding, but both come from Soundpeats. I was wondering about the fit comfort because my very first open air buds in this style were my Shokz OpenFit, which are very expensive and bass is horrible rumble, and very uncomfortable, they hurt my ears really bad. These GoFree 2 look a bit similar. My Truefree O1 on the other hand are very nice fit, very comfortable. Are the gofree 2 comfy?

Yes. I like the way that they sit over the ear and the silicone like coating feels good. Very comfortable to wear.

yeah, The Truefree O1 is very comfortable surprisingly. Usually completely forget they are on my ears.

Truefree is a division of Soundpeats. Truefree tends to be slightly cheaper than Soundpeats.

I got emails from two different people from two different addresses for these. So they didn't indicate that they were the same company. But then when I got the headphones, I saw how all of the controls are the same and thought that they had to be related. That makes sense that Truefree is the cheaper version. They are very similar but with less fit and finish.

Thanks for comparing both, I have the TrueFree and want to upgrade to the GoFree2. Can you comment on the sound quality specially bass?

The sound quality was actually pretty similar to me. The main benefits of the GoFree over the TrueFree was that it is waterproof and more comfortable/premium to wear. I need to play with the equalizer settings a bit and try increasing the bass. Then I’ll let you know what I think.

@@runwithsean Thanks for the response. well then I think I'll just stick to the GoFree2 cause the battery life is apparently much better. The case is big but It is always on my bag... I do like the design of the GoFree2 though.

To be honest, I have yet to use up the battery completely in either. The headphones themselves last much longer than I have ever used them for in one use. Then they go back in the case when I’m done with them, which charges them back up. I can go more than a week without having to charge the case. Maybe two weeks. I’ve been using the GoFree 2 more than the other. I like the comfort and fit of that one better.
