🌹I lived in NFLD for seven years. Every winter was like this. Id watch the storms on the frozen lake it took my breath away. I came home to Ontario last year and there is no winter here anymore. I sure miss NFLD>>

@@user-il3yz7dx8n Looks like Central New York across to Buffalo and up to the middle of Ontario, Canada. One of the views out my childhood windows, going out with my dad to plow snow in his souped-up Jeep and big v-plows (his hobby). Siberia didn’t have much on us. We didn’t have temps below minus 100F, but our winters were routinely down to 20 degrees below zero. I finally left that climate for good after a winter spent shovelling 4 feet of snow off my roof, all the exterior doors in the house closed by 4.5 ft drifts, climbing out the dining room window to go shovel the front door clear, driving up my short, slightly sloping driveway in 4WD because of the ice. Living in the Caribbean, and then SW Pacific islands is so much better! But the sound of the storm helps cancel out my tinnitus...probably the original source of my ears ringing! 😜

I love to hear the sound of the wind blowing. All the snow and beautiful pine trees in the storm is just perfect.. I not only like the sound, but I’m a visual person and when the wind is blowing this hard, there better be some trees moving too. I hate to see a storm and it’s fake background, with nothing moving….🌹🦋🌹 🧸

Awwww yes. This is the sound with the perfect visual....when I .moved to kansas with my boyfriend...we lived out in the middle of nowhere and the storms were harsh in the winter. I was a stay home mom... there's something about being able to be home, warm and cozy with the kids on a day or night like this... Homemade pot roast, cozy fire, a puzzle or mivie... I miss those days...

Yeah, it's relaxing to be home with a warm blanket. I don't have human kids but have a cat who snuggles up close and purrs like a diesel truck. I have a batch of chili in the slow cooker. The chili is starting to smell spicy. Few more hours and it'll be ready. Take care folks, stay safe.

I love the sound of a good snowstorm and blizzard. I get frontal lobe headaches frequently at night. These type of videos help immensely due to the white noise. Along with a cup of coffee and bottle of Excedrin. Also for us ladies if you hit perimenopause or full on menopause these videos are great for hot flashes. Maybe just me but I am not flashing these help cool me down. Other nights I curl up in bed with my crochet and listen to this. Absolute bliss. Grateful for videos like this and your channel. i like these videos,too.I think the reason is it's comforting to watch them from inside a nice,warm home. where you feel protected .I doubt,however,that Eskimos would find them as comforting and entertaining as most of us do..

I made chili when this started in NE Wisconsin Thursday. Yesterday when it kicked in full force I baked a pineapple upside down cake. My neighbors wanted to know what is on the menu. Chili, crackers and cake. Eat at home. Enjoy.

Winter is so beautiful, it feels safe and And quiet. It is a very productive time for my writing and other creative pursuits. Good tastes better music sounds beautifully executed. Thinking , meditation, praying , without the noise of “emptiness “ of daily groaning of talk, tv, society, disappears ! Winter is freedom. The softness of snow ❄️ The pure light reflecting off the snow clears away the debris of the city.

In the forest is a little town with a cafe. There is yellowish lighting, and lanterns on the walls. It’s like a trip back in time. An impromptu band is playing and everyone is talking and laughing. In the middle of the room there is a big fireplace and people are gathered around. A couple of people brought their dogs along. They are serving hot drinks. Some people are relaxing on the soft couches that line the walls. A couple of people come in and stamp the snow off of their boots. It’s a memorable night.

Wow! Makes me grab an extra blanket to curl up with. Sure does remind me of the Blizzards when I lived in Limestone Maine. We experienced “White Outs” and temps 30 below zero. Those were the days of shoveling snow all day in order to get to the road that had been cleared with snowplows.

If you're in the states, try Montana. Our wind chills earlier this year made it feel like -45F. It's 8F & heavily snowing this moment.

I remember being in the military: pulling guard duty in this type of weather, waiting for the sergeant to call the training off so we could go in tent ⛺️ and warm up. ( you military soldiers know what I’m talking about 😂)

I feel the same way and I'm not really sure why this blizzard makes me feel this way ? Sometimes I just lay on my bed listening to this and it takes me away from my reality for a little bit. The world is so scary to me now....😥😥 I think I just find some comforts in hiding from it in a cozy cabin during a blizzard .. God bless you 🙏💗

Nine loud obnoxious siblings hot in the house Our there with nobody and nothing with the The Almighty God whispering soothing soothing you, whispering sounds of love in truth . I now live in Florida, when I get home sick I watch this video, I'm from Ohio, Ohio were two- three years ago I'm on the front porch in 5° above, no gloves on , scrubbing bird poop off the front porch, the starlings ate the moist and dry cat food put out for any strays and made a mess , bad year , bird feeder has to be filled twice a day, critter corn for birds and squirrels, peanut butter on the tree, fingers frozen to the bird feeder, and I didn't even ask for a red Rider bebegun for Christmas,(lol) zero ° )Durning the day gave the postman a day off.

I feel for people who have never experienced the beauty of living in a place that has 4 distinct seasons. I would equally love to spend some time in a place where I could wear shorts and a t-shirt year round. The Earth is such an amazing and diverse place full of amazing and diverse weather, wildlife and people. Christmas on the other hand ...happy to give to give it a miss. Oh my days how I LOVE this! The wind howling and watching the wind in the trees! I hear the crackling of a fire and I have my hands wrapped around my favorite cup of cocoa while I sit curled up and the snow blowing around outside. Thank you for this! It is the only way I can get to sleep. 🥱😴

Close your eyes, concentrate on what your hearing, nature at its best, beautiful....... even more so when rain is lashing on the windows, house is literally rocking with the wind, an your home seems like heaven, at Christmas imagine that if you had no home, aren't we lucky whom have xxx cos them whom haven't this sound isn't pleasant at all .... this Christmas let's think about others especially more so now xxxx love to all xxxxxx

I'd love to be in a nice cabin with some family just having a good time. Drinking cups of hot chocolate and 🍵 sitting around a fireplace nice and cozy soft blankets, listening to the wonderful sounds of winter

Solitude is not for everyone , from the years I lived through winters in remote outport Newfoundland, witnessing storm after storm, to the years I lived in Australia travelling the remote outback, sleeping under the stars in the Kimberley or the Pilbara. Some people are more adaptable at providing for themselves.

С прошлого года не слышала таких потрясающих звуков метели... В 2022 у нас на Сахалине была очень сильная пурга, как раз такие звуки. Сугробы намело в человеческий рост
