I was at a show on the 94 tour, and this was played before the band took stage. Great to hear it again!!

I always remeber the concert on the Hockenheim ring. We will wait for the show. They push the volume over a realy long time so you think its the nature enviroment. People look around before realize its a part of the realy unbeleavable show. The only bad is you wanna close your eyes but there is so much to see. It´s a gift.

I am listening to this on a macbook and getting the most extraordinary stereo effects - some of the sounds are almost behind me. I'm not sure I've ever heard stereo effects seems so far away from the actual sound source. Maybe it's where I'm sitting but it's a delight.

Like 15 years ago, I downloaded a bunch of PF outtakes, demos and rarities, all packed in a Torrent file, they were classified by album Era, this track was on the 1994-1995 folder, there were all kind of rarities, I remember to have listened the full interviews Waters did to his staff and some of thise were included as samples in DSOM, when The Endless River came out I wasn't surprised by several sounds that were already leaked on that Torrent, looks like a lot of samples were leftovers from Division Bell.

Trippiest filler ever! :) (I only ever had the "Pulse" cassette, so this was a nice surprise!)

They had a 'Soundscape ' for the Momentary Lapse tour as well, it was more electronic sounding.

At Sun devil Stadium when it sounded like it went over your head a whole section ducked (it was in surround sound)

HOLY SHIT I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THIS TRACK....i had the pink floyd pulse concert on cassette tapes...it was a 2 tape concert and this song was on the side 2 of the second cassette after maybe 15 or 20 minutes of the concert being over

Still looking for the soundscape they used before the shows during the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour....where the storm is approaching while the guy feverishly gets the lawn cut before it hits.

This really is nothing new to them. They did something similar on 'Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast' from Atom Heart Mother. this just doesn't have music or words put to it yet.

It's certainly a foot tapper!

Maybe if I was listening to this in headphones, while tripping on something really good, then I could appreciate this. If music was added to this, it could be REALLY interesting! I don't know why some people are being real douche-bags about it. It's just various sound effects (for those who'd rather not sit through 22 minutes, waiting for it to get to "music", LOL!). It's kind of like, what if all the music & vocals were stripped from DSotM or The Wall. You might have something like this left over.

If you're letting yourself get bent over this piece, just remember this: This is just recording made for the quad P.A. they used to kind of set the tone for the concert about to begin! It's not some supposed unknown Pink Floyd masterpiece. Just a good freak tape to warm up the crowd and mildly freak them out with the capabilities of the awesome quad P.A. they had. Bottom line here: you had to be there, and I was. Listening to this separately outside of the live presentation is really boring with no giant quad P.A. and the company of some good friends in a huge stadium. It's totally out of its original context folks. :)

This is not a secret track. This was filler for side 4 of the cassette version when they first came out. Obviously, someone still has a copy! Mine wore put years ago and I ended up getting CD anyway. In 95, cassettes were still mounted in dashboards. The cassettes were a two tape set but side 4 had almost half of it left over. I doubt that you'll see it reproduced for a box set because bits and pieces of it are found throughout both Division Bell and The Endless River so don't count on it..
