The ambience you are hearing is digital reverb. No club I know of sounds like this.

@@robertperformance5260 I have been running sound boards off and on since 1974! I am very familiar with time delay,reverb,echo fading and parametric enhancement techniques! That's why I said ambiance! Which is pseudonym for "like Real"!

@@robertperformance5260 You are right about most clubs! Normally lots of people talking and clanking about in the lower class clubs! I have never been partial to smokey loud environment's! I prefer Eclectic Esoteric Jazz Style Clubs!

I get it Mr. Harris. I've met many a pro who is somehow seduced by the "black background" sound of digital reverb. Perhaps you're a user of these devices yourself, and that prompted your praise. I get it that many enthusiasts like this sound, as it removes the nasty realities of genuine ambience, tape hiss, preamp overloading, etc. This world is full of surprises.

@@robertperformance5260 That's why Raw Recordings are like fingernails on a chalkboard before all the Wizardry is added in! Paul of PS Audio is recording in Pure DSD raw and it captures everything that most people say sounds nasty! But then converted into PCM and Wizards go to work! 🤔

The Sound from this one literally ist everywhere in the room. First thing I noticed when I heard them.

@@AudiolandCH There are many examples that are more accenuated then this one. Of course that there is less sound but tonalitety is preserved which is very Important when you have guests at home and similar gathering, and nobody can sit in sweetspot but still it can feel fidelity of the speakers.

Very expensive I suppose as all in there was high end the mono block amps itself was Macintosh worth a new house already plus pre amps etc etc so very much I can’t afford it😂

@@alkingborn4620 mi permetta ma non sono affatto d’accordo. McIntosh è un marchio leggendario, e le loro elettroniche sono di altissimo livello. Poi a lei può non piacere, sia a livello di design che di suono, ci sta. E leggendaria è anche la loro affidabilità. Quando lavoravo nella musica e si vendeva un McIntosh, all’acquirente lasciavamo la garanzia in bianco. Con un messaggio: suonerà per i figli dei suoi figli. Mai ritirato uno per un guasto o qualche difetto. Cordiali saluti.

@@gianlu074 AL di là dei gusti personali, nel mondo dell'high-end (che frequento da circa 45 anni) quando si parla di amplificazioni allo stato dell'arte, mi creda si parla di Pass Labs, Gryphon, D'Agostino, Audio Research etc. etc. ma di Macintosh (che peraltro ho regalato un paio d'anni fa a mio figlio) non se ne parla proprio così come, nel campo dei diffusori, non si parla mai di B&W. Prova neè il fatto che sul mercato dell'usato di Macintosh se ne trovano a migliaia, mentre dei marchi citati no. Saluti

Come sempre il mondo dei audiofili è pieno di gente che parla a ca**o 😂 Io sono stato nella loro fabbrica, come fotografo x un servizio, la sala d'ascolto e prove, dove erano presenti vari diffusori con i crossover per terra per poter cambiare componenti al volo...beh, c'era UN MURO di vari amplificatori McIntosh....di tutte le tipologie//età... Le SF vengono testate su' McIntosh quindi danno il meglio con questi, che ha senso in quanto fanno parte DELLA STESSA AZIENDA!! Dai, vai a girare il ragù che è meglio, fidati
