How To Keep Your Headphones Fresh - Sound Speeds

It may not occur to you but if you sweat a lot in your headphones, that moisture could give you an ear infection if you have sensitive ears. Putting wet headphones back over your ears doesn't even feel nice and can be distracting (especially if there's any kind of sweaty smell on them) so what can you do? Lucky for you, I have a free solution.

With velour pads, I wash them in warm, mild soapy water after taking them off. Done that for years with Senn hd600 and 650 pads. With pleather - a damp, mildly soapy cloth wipe. Some though, like the Sony mdr7506 are so thin and crinkly that they don’t really take a lot of that kind of treatment. The AT M50 that you’re wearing has good strong pleather pads too and they can be wiped.

Ian Craig True that. With any headphones you're cleaning with anything liquid, it's important to not overkill the amount you use and wipe off once clean.

Doubt: I have Redgear Cosmo 7.1 USB Wired Gaming Headphones and (speakers too!). Should I keep them(headphones) attach to pc all the time or plugged them only when I need them?

Wow, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.
