The Source Audio Ultrawave is a multi-band processor that starts by breaking your signal up into specific freq bands. By doing so, you can apply different levels of gain to each band as well as choose from a long list of distortions that produce complex signals full of overtones, synthy sounds and octave up effects. Naturally, Source Audio doesn’t stop there and gives you tools to enhance the overtones such as compression, EQ and a stereo multi-band tremolo that works with the bands to create anything from panning effects to rhythmic step sequencer type effects. Like other One Series effects, the Ultrawave comes with a full compliment of ins and outs to accommodate an ext foot switch, exp pedal for morphing parameters and full MID control via the Neuro Hub. 3 quick access presets are available on the face or you can dig into any preset with the Neuro App and access, create and share your own with the Neuro community. In fact, I’ve spent some time creating my own Ultrawave presets which I’ve published to the Cloud if you’d like to try some of the sounds in this video.

Germanium transistors cost like 62pence Uk at their cheapest and 33 GBP at their most expensive; don't let pedal manufacturers bullshit you. The transistors in most "boutique" fuzz pedals you can pick up for 16-18GBP each. Oh, I forgot, there's only "a few good ones per batch", right? LOLOLOLOL. Whatever parts rich people from their cash I guess....

At the beggining i was feeling the Ultrawave was just the multiwave distortion with a stereo tremolo plus, but this demo makes me see it's has more complex capabilities

It's my understanding with this pedal you can do all the sounds in the various overdrive and fuzz pedals they make? So you can just buy this and you get all the other dirt pedals as well? Same with the chorus that does the phaser and flanger pedal stuff. Same with the C4 as it does everything the filter pedal does as well

Awesome .I have always used FL studio as an fx router .It can do quite a bit of this ,but you need a damned laptop and nothing is easy or optimized . This looks like ti is worth the $$ they are asking

I feel like modern pedals make me spend more time tinkering than playing. I love advancement but how the hell can I choose which sounds better with minor tweaking to the point where the difference is almost unnoticeable? Yet, it's still there and I have to triple check if I hear a difference. Now do that with 18 digital knobs

Great demo as always! One question: are using the same Ultrawave pedal for the bass and guitar on the intro? Or was it the Ultrawave “Bass” pedal on the bass? I’m curious if buying the guitar oriented pedal would work sufficiently on both bass and guitar. Thank you!

The standard and the Bass versions of the Ultrawave are the exact same pedals. The bass version comes loaded with 6 presets that are specifically tuned for the bass, but it is possible to load any preset created with the standard Ultrawave into the bass version and vice-versa. So you won't be missing anything regardless of which pedal you pick. Basically you can make your decision based on which color you prefer, blue or green. :-)

I love Source Audio pedals, super innovative... BUT... too many options, too complicated, I wish their pedals would be more focused on PLAYING than TWEAKING.
