Police are responding to an active incident in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis that has left two police officers and multiple civilians injured, sources tell 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.

Minneapolis 430,000 has 571 sworn officers. Saint Paul, MN 285,000 575 sworn officers Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 660,000 people has 1,800 sworn officers.

I've always looked at Milwaukee as being a suburb of Chicago. Friend's wife is from Kenosha and since the AMC plant shut down I'm sure it isn't the best place to live either. I call them Urban cesspools.

Witness here - I was in this event when this happened just in this area with my family. I heard the gunshots across the street and I was very close to the range of shooting and possibly getting killed by the shooter. I witnessed a man getting shot and dying right infront of my very eyes all the while I was protecting my mom and my grandma behind me

Yes this is horrible and I hope the family members cope with this easily but remember Chicago is 350 times worse. That city and even the whole state of Illinois is extremely violent I lived there for 5 years and before that I was in Ohio for 17 years been in Minnesota for 2 years. Not to long ago about 2-3 months Chicago news reported that it was the first time in many many years a shooting in 24 hours didn’t occur. When I heard that and compared that city to Minneapolis it’s night and day but hey what do I know im new here lol. I just hope we don’t get near that level ever. 🙏
