Akaza was assigned to find that blue spider lily since the mugen train, remember when muzan tortured akaza in s2 ep1 that was when akaza mentioned he still couldn't find blue spider lily that's why he got triggered when muzan mention about it

@@arminarlert1953 Spoiler (don't read if you want to know it through later episodes) Muzan being a demon can't move in daylight and the Blue Spider Lily can most probably provide him affinity to sun. He wants to conquer the Sun so that he can even move in daylight and having conquered his only weakness Sun, he will become immortal. (I didn't told everything here, its just a basic explanation of why he wants the spider lily)

Love the voice actor for all the Upper Moon...when i read the manga i had more like Aizen Sosuke voice actor for Kokushibo but i think Byakuya works very well here...Doma is just perfect casting ! Don't underestimate that guy...Ufotable really flexed the animation here !! Well done !!

I am just so confusing why everyone have forgotten this red hair man with earrings. He’s clearly not the upper one. Remember that when Tanjiro vs Daki,The figure of that person appeared in her mind and she noticed that Muzan is afraid of him. How could he afraid of his own subordinate?

What I absolutely love about this episode was the traveling to the village and all the assistants that carried Tanjiro the entire way. Every single one of them came away from their experience with him not bitter they had to escort this ONE guy to a top secret village no one is supposed to know about and basically act as pack mules the entire trip, but were touched and appreciative of how kind Tanjiro was to them every step of the way. Really makes any scenes from now on hit different whenever they're talking or refering to Tanjiro that I kind of missed first time reading the manga

Quick reminder why it can't be Tanjiro's dad: As we heard back in season 1, Tanjiro's father alsways had a frail body. And other than the guy we saw in Tanjiro's dream, his dad alsways wore a yellow jacket instead of green. About the other guy you saw in the dream.. Well first of all, he and upper one do have different voice actors. Second, one of them wears purple and the other guy wears red. And third, upper one does not wear the "hanafuda like" earrings like Tanjiro and the long haired guy in the dream I hope this helps ^^

The guy we see in the flash back is actually not tanjiros dad. Tanjiros dad is named tanjuro and we’ve already seen him.

Upper one kokushibo isn't actually the guy you saw in season 2. That's yoriichi Tsugikuni the maker of the breathing styles and (might contain spoilers) Upper one's human name is Michikatsu Tsugikuni Now you might already figured that they both have the same last name and thats because their twin brothers and the person that looked like tanjiro is his ancestor who knew yoriichi because he saved them

In case you don't understand, the Hat Doma puts on when he is told his disciples are there, is a Buddhist Head Priest's crown.....this means Doma is hiding as a higher up Religious figure.

Fun fact: Muzan is 1000 years old.(1k) Spoilers ahead: Kokushibo (upper 1) is actually the long haired man’s brother. That man is actually Yourichi and is the only one that left a GIGANTIC PERMANENT WOUND ON MUZAN. The only reason you cannot see it is because that Muzan keeps putting a new layer of flesh on it.

the character in tanjiros dream is yorici and the demon is hes brother kokushibo rorici is stroger then kokusibo or upper 1 but the demon slayer mark makes rorici have a short life of 20 ig and even a weak old man yorici can still defeat kokusibo but he gave koku mercy and then koku killes hes brother yorici but yorici made kokusibo fear for hes life fun fact yorici is the one who created breathing style

the character is named sumiyoshi not Tanjuro (Tanjiro's dad). Yoriichi lived way before Tanjuro( Tanjiros dad) was born. Sumiyoshi was an ancestor to Tanjiros family.

SPOILERS That red haired guy is not Tanjiro's decentant he is just a friend of Tanjiro's Ancestor and his name is Yoriichi and tge Upper 1 kokushibo is the twin brother of Yoriichi and he became a demon because of jealousy about Yoriichi and he gave his hanafuta earings to them and they pass down the earings in their family for many years so they have the same earings
