In this webinar, DA Leader, John Steenhuisen will brief South Africans abroad on the latest insights and news about the crisis unfolding in the country, after spending the week with communities protecting themselves on the frontlines. How did we get here, and can South Africa be saved?
Will you stand with us by making a donation? Your donation will go towards our efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice; to provide a real alternative for voters in this election, so that we can implement the deep economic reforms needed to prevent this from happening again. THIS Man, John Steenhuisen, is the ONLY political leader in South Africa who SHOULD be PRESIDENT of SOUTH AFRICA. He reasons with intelligence, and speaks with calm coherence and emotionally involved expression. His INTEGRITY is a critical asset to being the leader of a party, and hopefully SOON, our country.

This man, John Steenhuisen, speaks with such conviction and intelligence. He does not mince words like our President who unfortunately is dictated to so his guidance is compromised.I believe he is fully aware of this but is powerless to voice his true opinion. As for John Steenhuisen being president, as much as many would appreciate the thought we all know that this will never happen due to his colour. This should never play a part in true, honest governance but alas the masses would not allow this. How we yearn for Nelson Mandela's governance, a true, honest, gentleman with integrity above reproach. His intelligence is yet to be matched by those he represented. There are politicians who should not be in Parliament as all they do is agitate and stir up dissension on every level. They cannot even conduct themselves in an orderly fashion in Parliament. An absolute disgrace to the watching world. We pray that Moegeng Moegeng would be considered as our next President. Cry our beloved country!!

To be replaced with what? Get real dude! We needed Zuma to resign fortunately he was kicked out. Ramaphosa is by no means a saint but he is the best leader we have right now. I know the general standard for leadership in SA is low, but your suggestion is that Ramaphosa resign is asinine.

Thank you so much for clarifying so many questions that are being ignored by CR and his cronies. Can we please ask for the resignation of the man in the hat, the man who stated on live TV that when he wakes up at 0600, he sorts things out ... while citizens defending their suburbs hadn't slept in 24 hours or more?

I worked in the same industry for 25 years. I put together a skills development program in conjunction with SAQWA. It has taken 7 months to try finalize accreditation and is filled with red tape and obstacles . Most of them are still rules dating back to 1975 when SAQWA and SETAS were formed. They still want classroom environments within the SETAs. The world has changed and online training is vital. The classroom environment during Covid and the problems regarding transport and 20 other factors of hinderances is impractical. I left Cape Town and emigrated in December last year but I am still pursuing this venture to upskill those who don't have a chance. The difference being here where I moved to takes 14 days for accreditation to be completed with ability to offer a globally recognized certificate of accreditation. Its time for a reform in SA to educate and upskill to give everyone a fair chance.

Pls. I am in the Western Cape. Like I said the rich are richer, the middle class are poorer and the poor are even poorer. Majority people in Western Cape are struggling financially. DA must not take credit for good. In our schools, colleges etc, we instil values. We inform students what they break down, at end of the day they lose out. Money must be used to rebuild what they damaged, as result it cannot be used to build something new or better. So pls DA don't take all credit. Go into areas like Egoli, Pelican Park, Mitchells Plein etc, see all the coloureds struggling financially. Lot are trying to make ends meat.

It's truly sad that my people (The Coloured people of South Africa) don't have a fair chance in the only country that we know, and that we were born in, and that we all call home. What I mean by that is that most of us won't find family rooted abroad that we can call on to help us with immigration or resettlement. My people did not come south of Africa whether it be through slavery or opportunity. We were made here and this is our home. Unlike other races from Black, White, Indian even the Chinese, we don't really have another place that we can freely go abroad if things go south (pun intended) for us here. THIS IS OUR HOME!!!!💚

John Steenhuisen, You have a great potential to take the presidency in 2024 but you need to tighten up your approach. You are a little too wide and dont bring the voters home strongly enough. We like you coz you're a likeable guy, but you need to make people WANT YOU!!! Have a strong clear, one sentence vision for the country. Not just small great ideas all over the place. Throw some curveballs there n there for entertainment politics. It might also help you to learn conversational Zulu or Xhosa.... not just "hello bye thank you". That will bring you closer to the people. Goodluck
