As a white South African that comes from white trash, when a white person waves their hand admitting they use like they're in Church, they still use and ain't trying to fix shit. They just feel good about themselves saying "I have a problem" like a 5 year old screams that they can tell time at teacher. Don't come here calling me judgemental, my mom is one of those people and all her slum friends were too. I know what I'm talking about.

@n.vacore4 ай бұрын
@@DHFT147 I'm not 'falling' for anything. From my own experiences i've deducted that they are both definitely struggling, she needs someone to keep her in check, and while the guy has some issues of his own, I don't think he's making up excuses. When you are in an environment like that for so long, your perception shifts, same goes for what you grew up around. While I don't exactly know your perception, I can guarantee it is vastly different from theirs. I agree that weed is a drug, but I can recognize the positive and negative effects it can have on you, depending on how you use it, habits, brain chemistry, etc. He's using it as a dependency to keep him off of hard drugs, which is not particularly good, but it's a step in the right direction. It looks like they are all each other have, and it is good to have a battle buddy to keep you in check.
@toolazytothinkofaname66804 ай бұрын
@@DHFT147 He’s talking about smoking weed and drinking because he has bipolar disorder and presumably no access to treatment. He’s simply doing what he needs to do with what he’s got, but the implication is very heavily that she has an addiction to something a lot more severe and is trying to stop. He didn’t dodge anything, even from how she was acting you can tell she knew her problem was worse. You can argue that he has a problem too, but something tells me it’s not at the top of their priority list currently.

@Sheismrda *Ion*- an atom or molecule with a net electric charge due to the loss or gain of one or more electrons. The correct words would be *I Don’t*

Acknowledging you have a problem is a huge first step. He explains that weed is a substitute to getting access to prescribed medication, which may actually be the better option.

My therapist told me that using the word "try" gives me a pass if I don't get it done. "Well, I tried." It's tough love but he's not wrong.

The WORST thing an addict can have in their life is an ENABLER.. and no weed isn’t necessarily a bad thing but if your spending all your money on it and can’t afford an apartment then you TOO are an addict.. your addicted to your girlfriend’s drug problem AND contributing to her AND your demise.. I hope they get the help.. I’m clean 13 years now of prescription drugs so recovery is possible.. in the right environment
@user-rp2xo1me4u Жыл бұрын
that's true and all that but the absolute first step is on you and not blaming anyone else around you. theres only an enabler because she's a user
@dickjohnson9582 Жыл бұрын
If you can afford it you're not an addict. Makes sense

Yeh he's not an enabler.. he has a mood disorder and is self medicating with weed.
