This South African team is lame. Bavuma doesn't deserve a spot, Brevis is sitting out. Aiden Markram is lame and irresponsible, Klassen isn't there. QDK is absent too.. Rabada, Nortje nowhere either .. Aussies will perish against Indian spinners, like the 2011 team did.

I know that SA badly missed their 3 main batsmen: De Kock, Klassen and Miller and their presence could have made a big difference but their biggest concern over the last few years in white ball cricket has been their bowling even if Rabada and Nortje are there as they both also concede a lot of runs in almost every match but they at least have wicket taking ability whereas other bowlers of their country including spinners go for a lot of runs and don't even pick up wickets.

Temba Bavuma batting in T20Is since beginning of 2022 15 innings 169 runs 13.00 Average 105.63 Strike Rate 36 Highest Score 4 Ducks A batter with such stats, simply cannot be in the playing XI for so long. Especially as a T20 opener, its such a crucial tone-setting position in this format. Nothing against Bavuma, maybe he is better suited for ODIs and Tests, but South Africa need to move on from him, its high time
