I think the Captain was misled about the fuel burn per engine at 53.45 . Maths don't stack up .

440kg/minute for all engines gives only 2 hrs of flight on 56000kg of fuel or 320kg/min 3 hrs … was the 56000kg just for the last part of the trip or did I misunderstand?:)

They had a 68 knot tailwind, that save a huge amount of fuel. They had a total 75,1 tons, so 56t must be the trip fuel for the whole flight.
