South African Election: Early Counting shows ANC Losing Majority | Vantage with Palki Sharma
South Africa went to polls on Wednesday, and the results have started coming in. After about three quarters of the votes being counted, it looks like South Africa's ruling party, the African National Congress, or ANC, is on course to lose its majority in parliament. The ANC has ruled South Africa since 1994, after Nelson Mandela and the party ended Apartheid. But unemployment, high crime and corruption have led to anger against the ANC, and it seems that the party is paying for this at the ballot. The ANC will still be the largest party in South Africa, but it will have to form a coalition. Who will the ANC choose; the DA, the EFF or Zuma's MK Party?

The ANC has been in power so long that they didn’t see themselves as a party anymore, but as the masters. Nobody was ever able to do something about their massive corruption and incompetence. Unqualified people were placed into senior jobs, not because they knew how to do the job, but because of their loyalty to the party. These are the 3 things that brought them down finally

Criminals in cahoots with the ANC control the power, public transport and have infiltrated the police and army. Do you think these criminal cartels will just up and leave if the ANC looses power? No. The will most likely load shed the country and assassinate opposition to intimidate and blackmail the population into keeping the ANC around. The criminals in SANDF are already doing assassinations and those in Eskom already tried to assassinate de Reuters when he tried to rock the boat. The ballot box is not how you win this fight. So the ANC has already won.

@@debrutomeyer9117 I get what you mean, but here's what I mean. Due to the ANC, criminals and other parties have infiltrated every sector of infrastructure in South Africa. Sabotaging in Eskom. Taxis cartels fire bombing busses and trains that are supposed to be public transport and the main competition. SANDF heavily involved in crime and even assassinations with the "SANDF death squad". Police are just as corrupt as we know of thousands of police officers arrested for crimes that are STILL employed by SAPS. the "Hawks" as well corrupt and criminal. Every sector of government and this DID NOT happen without ANC direct involvement. Do you think because of voting differences, these criminal elements will just up and leave if the ANC is no longer in charge? No... They will probably cut the power out and loadshed South Africa into oblivion just to blackmail us into keeping the ANC there and assassinate any that oppose them, just like they tried to do to Andre de Reuters. Voting is pointless and the Ballot box is pointless. That's why I say the ANC is not brought down and they won. This problem wont be solved by asking nicely. Picking up arms is probably the only way.

Fortunately, wena Palki, the ANC is not the party of Nelson Mandela, it is the party of the people of South Africa. Even Mandela found it exiting and alive and every generation has had to add elevated levels of activism into the ANC to make it a formidable weapon of liberation for the people of South Africa. Then politics took over, money oiled some processes, corruption seeped in and it lost it connection to the grassroots, became elitist without strong ideological posture, thus the problems we have now.
