Housing cost are higher in Fla, because of the amount of coastline. You should compare apples to apples.

I live in Florida but am from Greenville. I visit my family there often. How do you like it? Summers and fall are nice there but it rains a lot. Like drizzly rain for weeks, especially in fall and winter. Otherwise, beautiful city and nice friendly people. Which area of Greenville did you move to?

The weather in South Carolina can indeed be quite varied. Summers are typically hot and humid, while fall brings milder temperatures and beautiful foliage. You're right about the rain - we do get our fair share, especially during the fall and winter months. Despite the rain, the area remains beautiful with friendly communities and plenty to enjoy year-round. Are you planning to come back to SC? Thanks again for sharing your experience and thoughts!
