Poetry in motion .. lol .. the D & W camp show proving once again anything is possible if you only try. I had other visions of " the twinkle light show " thankfully you proved me wrong. Steepish climb through some beautiful country but that is what makes your trips with Warren stand out Dan. Thanks for the upload guys what a blast. Bushyboy Oz.

What a wonderful trip! That looked a wonderful trek, and a part of the south downs way I've yet to experience! Your shelter, if small, seemed to do the trick, definitely needed though, you could tell the wind was relentless! Cheers, James 🙏💚

I think my original plan was just to bivi. But the wind was surprisingly chilly. So the tarp I had for a ground sheet got sacrificed. Stunning evening, really enjoyed it.

Re: your shelter Dan, I would suggest ........... the epitome of a .... very ............ happy camper ; ) and why wouldn't ya be with views like that. Goes to show you don't necessarily have to travel far and wide for a good eyeful. Cheers Duke.

Nicely done Dan, Warren👍👍 Always a pleasure to see you two out and about on another camping adventure. Good climb up and stunning views of the countryside and that sunset.... Damn that wind is relentless, continuous and never forgiving on those bald hills. I guess to get the views you have to sacrifice something though. Great bit of filming as always, thanks for the trip..

Thanks, Terry. Yeah, it was windy.. and oddly, it was very cold after the sun dropped. I hadn't thought about wind noise and didn't bring my microphone cover. So there was a fair amount of it caught on the audio unfortunately.

Beautiful place to camp, the 5 Bells would become 6 or more after a few beers. The 'bomb' crater looks more like a robbed out barrow (burial mound) hard to say from the video but it's certainly the place they'd put one. Or a round house, but it's a bit exposed.
@CampLifeBushcraft
@CampLifeBushcraft Жыл бұрын
you might be correct about the mound. when I was a kid our farm had bomb craters in the field which probably made my mind go there first. although our craters were much deeper. stunning place nonetheless.
