SOUTH KOREAN VOCAL GROUP! Forestella (포레스텔라) Magic Castle, My Favorite Things: First Time Reaction!

This is my first time reacting to the South-Korean classical vocal group, Forestella (포레스텔라). In this video I watched two live performances: the first was Magic Castle (마법의 성) and the second was their cover of My Favorite Things (원곡 영화 사운드 오브 뮤직 OST) from the musical 'The Sound of Music'. Amazing vocals and harmonies I hope you enjoy the reaction :)

If you like Bohemian Rhapsody of Queen, you should watch Forestella's rendition. You will never regret it. As English songs, Forestella sang great renditions for the Sound of Silence, Sweet Dreams and Heal the World, too.

Forestella is combined words ; forest+stella(star in Italian). It means their songs to be relaxing like the forest and to be twinkling like the star. But long story is like this. They are winners of Phantom Singer season 2 audition program: competiton to form crossover quartet. Before making a quartet team there were competition like 1vs1, 2vs 2, 3 vs 3...3 of them were members of team Forest. They welcomed one new member as a Stellta(star). So like this formed Forestella.

@@bintube5269 The leader Cho MinGyu (classically trained tenor; who started this song) had his own strategy and ideas for an ideal quartet and gathered members from duet competition with Ko WooRim(classically trained bass; who had unique low voice). They(Cho&Ko) picked Bae DooHoon(musical actor; who sang last "So Bad") for trio competition. And the member last joined Kang HyungHo(counter tenor and rocker, the one you said rival to Dimash) was a research chemist and a vocalist of an amateur rock band. He had no musical education but sang "Phantom of the Opera" beautifully with female voice and male voice at the 1st episode of Phantom Singer season 2. His audition clip marked more than 1million viewers very quickely. (He was like Paul Potts in British Got Talent.)

Woorim_Ko 1995 (Bass/vocalist ), Hyungho_Kang1988 (Counter Tenor/vocalist), Mingyu_Cho 1990 (Tenor/vocalist), Doohoon_Bae 1986 (musical actor). They are the winner of the Korean TV program Phantom Singer 2. They always touch people with a very surprising stage. I hope you can watch another Forestella's performance.

I hope to be doing more reactions to Forestella for sure. It does seem they still are a bit underrated, but classical singers usually are, though I think only 2 of them are classically trained? But they deserve the recognition.
