Yes a few, but with a spray deck and hitting them at 90 degrees it is a pretty easy river.

What a beautiful place eh? My wife and I paddled from Rabbitkettle to Nahanni Butte just a few weeks after you were here. Looks like the bugs were a bit better for us.

We only really had bugs at Rabbitkettle, Deadmen's Ranger station camp and Nahanni Butte gravel bar. The rest was ok.

@@wildernesscanoeassociation Hell Roaring Creek and Nahanni Butte were definitely the worst for us. But our guide showed us pictures of a couple weeks before and it looked unbearable!
