This show is one of the few shows I want to collect all the season box sets for (especially the box sets since I prefer them than the disc-flap thingies).

When you take out each South Park DVD box set out, it comes out like magic (the picture on the DVD changes).

Thanks for doing this Bro, I'm not a die-hard South Park fan but I do enjoy the show based on the episodes I've watched so far. I own the movie on Blu-Ray, and Season's 1, 4, and 6 on DVD, I love the Lord Of The Rings episode from Season 6, the movie is great (at least an 8/10), as a Canadian I took no offense to the Jokes they made. It's going the be a fun challenge to get the remaining seasons on DVD.

The one thing I missed in the later season DVD's is that they stopped showing the season number in the cover.

I notice all the characters on the Box Covers are slightly 3D or that smooth texture in the light. I have all Australian versions of the Box Covers and they are just flat all 1 tone. Also my versions have Australian M or MA15+ ratings all over them, these copies are so much better, im guessing region 1.

Hmm. I'm torn between getting the blue ray for quality or dvd for more so a collector's factor value. The DVD Cases are way cooler. Is their more stuff inside?

If you're on a budget, the DVDs will definitely save you a lot of money for purchasing the show in general, particularly for Seasons 1-11.

I was kinda wrong, for me season 1, 2 and 10 for some reason have the slightly 3D characters on the covers. Ive gotten mixed up now which ones I purchased when they were first released and which ones after releases.

I have all the seasons from 1-23. Most of them are in the versions package versions, like you have, and a few are in the plastic packaging. I'm looking to replace the plastic packaging and I need seasons 1,8,9,11,12,15,and 16.

Hi, sorry if if gets mentioned but can you let me know if Region 1 is identical to Region 2 in content and packaging for the first 10 seasons? Thanks.

seekah1 Region 2 versions of season one are missing the 1997 CableACE intro which Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny presented. The rest of the features are identical. In season 2's region 2 release, its missing the "Going Down To South Park documentary. In region 2 versions, the air dates aren't there. That's all of the changes in region 2 (that I'm aware of).

@iNeoCats they do release boxsets. They have released 18 seasons and the 20th for the 20th anniverary in 2009

@@TheDVDFreak I get mine from half priced books. They had every season season 1-21 on DVD and got it. Also bought the movie there, PLUS a special season 1-10 special edition for like 20 bucks
