The fire got too big and caught their teacher on fire. They lied and placed the whole blame on Trent. The teacher is stuck in like an iron lung thing and one beep means yes, two beeps means no. The joke is they boys lied again, and the teacher was saying no, trent didn't do it, but cause of his past record and reputation. The cops took it as yes, yes.
